When we finally got over the silence, I dropped my eyes to Midnight who had been watching us.
"What are you looking at?" I asked her with a questioning stare.
"You two are adorable!" she purred, jumping onto my shoulder. I looked over at Jack. His face was slightly red and he gave me a smirk.
"Do the Guardians know?" Jack gave me a questioning look.
"About us" I clarified.
Jack gave me the quickest "no" I had ever heard.
"How did they react to this evening?" I asked, taken aback.
"They know that we were friends, not more than that," he said, drifting off into thoughts of the previous events.
Once we got back to the North Pole it was dinner time and Tooth had set up the table already. North was at the head of the table, Tooth and Bunny on one side and Jack and me on the other. We had dinner and dessert before Jack brought me back to my house.
