"Why the stalking?" Tonia asked the guy, she had not seen him around school since she got here so the only conclusion left to her was that he must be the new student.
"And who says am stalking?" He drawled
"I do " she replied already getting pissed off.
"I think you are the one stalking me, cause as far as I can tell I have been hanging out here and who walks up to who?" He asked still slouched on the wall.
"Well I did,but it was for a good reason" she grumbled.
"Yeah" he replied, since there was only so much embarrassment she could take she started walking way.

"Hey wait" he called out to her as was walking away.
"And why should I do that?" She asked as she kept on walking.
"No reason other than I want to talk to you" he replied catching up with her easily.
"Now why would you want to do that?" She replied.
"Maybe cause its nice having a pretty stalker" he replied.
"You're the new kid,what's your name?" She asked wondering if all the rumors about him was true.
"Well I am new but am not so sure am the kid here" he replied cheekily.
"Hmm" she replied not sure what reply she could give to that.

"Am Ian blake,and I suppose you are Antonia Pearson" he replied .
"And how would you know my name?" She asked,as she kept on walking.
"I keep it my duty to know who my stalkers are" he replied with a smirk.
"That line is getting old ,I do know for one that you were stalking me ,but am going to allow that to slide" she said
Before he could reply the bell rang ,signaling that it was time for the sequestration.
"That is my cue" she said as she walked away from him,trying to think where sect B could be.

"Toni,where have you been ,we have been waiting for you ." Jeff hissed.
"Ehhhm" she fumbled not really having any explanation and they did have a right to be mad at her,she did not know she had spent so much time in the presence of the oddly intriguing ian.
"She has no excuse" one of the sect members said,she really had not been on good terms with the rest,not really bad but not on friendly terms either, and with this tournament that they all had to work together she was quite sorry she had not befriended any of them sooner.
"Am sorry,what is the first challenge?" She asked looking apologetic in Jeff's direction.

"Its million ways".
" what is that?"Guinevere asked Lucas.
"Who doesn't know what million ways is?" One of the team members scoffed at her.
"Well I don't,and could you please explain to me" Gwen replied stiffly.
"Its a maze,and as legend would have it or those that had been in the maze and come out of it with minds unscathed, its not just any ordinary maze ,it changes paths and end points at any time, children that get lost or wonder in the maze sometimes are never found again,it is used to scare little children, some do not believe of its existence,the academy must have something to prove by giving us this challenge" a lady with short brown hair said,and smiled at Gwen.
It was the first time she really paid attention her other sect mate's and she felt terrible for that.

"Freya stop scaring her,we are going to be dropped at the middle of the maze and we are to find the exit, the first sect to have all its members out wins the challenge as we were six before the addition of Gwen we all total seven now and so does sect B ,we need to organize and formulate a plan" Lucas said to all of them looking each member in the eye,he looked steely,determination etched in his very remarkable features.
"Gather round warriors,you all have one hour to plan and strategize, as you enter a million ways there are no rules than those set in the beginning, you are all to find the exit within three hours or you forfeit this challenge,may the best be known" the head mistress announced to all the whole school.

"What does that mean,about the forfeit?"Tonia asked her team mates.
" what do you think dummy,it means even if six of us find the exit first before the other sect and after three hours our last team mate is still in the maze we lose"Erica replied,shooting hate glares at tonia.
"Gather round sect B ,we are not losing this year's competition this shouldn't  be difficult its like a puzzle and we have to know where we have been so as not to walk in circles " he said ,and they kept on talking till it was their one hour was up.

"Warriors gather round" the head mistress said.
They all gathered round in something that looked akin to cage,both sect A and B were shooting death glares at each other.
"Three, two"the headmistress called out
Gwen looked at her twin and smiled and mouthed a silent good luck.
Tonia smiled in return and replied in kind.
"One" she called out and she suddenly was no longer there .
