As they were all dropped in a million ways,everyone immediately scattered, Tonia had no one to really pair with apart from her twin and since they we're not in the same sect that was not allowed here.
Easy they said ,just like a puzzle didn't no one ever tell them that Antonia Pearson hates puzzles, she wished right then and there that she had paid more attention in ms.Allen's class. She could not let down her team mates and decided to look around maybe a miracle would happened,she mentally scoffed at this thought.

The maze was beautiful, the grass at least she did assumed the stuff was grass as she moved closer to touch it to see if it was actually as inviting as it looked,thorns grew from it and the walls of that side of the maze started to close in on her, she started running for the nearest exit,even then the light was quickly fading,when she thought she won't be able to make it,someone drew the hand that she stretched in front of her,it was Jeffrey, before she could thank him,he was off again and she couldn't even follow as the maze paths were already changing again.

Immediately they were placed in the maze Guinevere started running ,she did not know why but something screamed to her to start moving,she looked at her side no one was beside her ,in front or at her back,it was as though she was lost in the maze,although her logical skills were better than Tonia's she was not the best or even claim to be among the top three,and she still wasn't sure what her power's were and with that she was left at a disadvantage.

She kept on walking through the maze and she looked back the maze had closed up and the way had changed from that with which she had come out from before,she was already having a head ache trying to figure out the end of the maze,she sat down on the wet soil ,not knowing what to do she put her head between her legs ,time was already going and she was not any closer to leaving the maze than when she began.

She remembered what ms.Victoria had said in their power definition class,they should concentrate and Chanel the power from within,there was no other way she could leave this maze if she doesn't do something and she would not want to disappoint her sect members, she tried thinking of all the happy memories that she shared with Tonia ,maybe it would help her focus after about five minutes ,she was about giving up,until she say blue fireflies rise up from the soil and it illuminated a pathway.

Tonia was at a loss as to what to do,the ways kept in changing ,guess this was why the maze was called a million pathways,there was only one thing to do, she lit her flame it was Orange and she did not know why she used her flame to lit the hedge of the maze, the maze did not burn as she made sure of that ,she did not want to be the cause of the maze falling apart now ,anywhere she had been she lit it with her flame and soon she was able to find a pathway that she had not gone through.

She just wished she thought of this earlier cause gauging from her own internal clock it would seem their three hours was almost up,and there at the end of that pathway was an end as she started walking towards it,the maze started changing pathways again,no she would not allow that to happen,after she had almost gotten, she started running and she noticed that someone was also running from the  another part of the maze,something clicked in her head for her to hasten her pace,she reached the end in the nick of time before the other guy.

Guinevere followed the fire flies until she saw the end of the maze,it would seem she called them cause as she continued to walk she felt weak and their light was becoming dim,she used her last strength and walked out of the maze,Lucas saw her immediately and pulled her closer and as he did so she slumped into his embrace,he carried her up and went to the medics area,he placed her on the bed there, the healers looked at her assessing her for any sort of injury, they found none.
"She's just weak" healer one said
"Are you sure that's all ?" Lucas asked.
"Yes,just allow her to rest" healer two replied,and they went away.

The silence was think between I and Lucas,I couldn't stand it any longer.
"Who left the maze first?" I asked him.
"Erica her gift is speed and she is a hell of a tracker" he replied,sitting next to her.
"So sect B has won?" I asked .
"Not yet ,there are one of each sect still in the maze,they would determine who would win this challenge" he replied after thinking for a while.
"Who are they?" I asked,looking around for my twin,even though we are not to talk to each other,I still wanted to make sure she is okay.

"Its Antonia and Calvin" he replied ,confirming her suspicion.
She did not comment on his statement,she honestly could not wish her twin to be the last and she also did not want her sect to lose, so she just crossed her hand and hoped for the best.
"Well isn't that peachy" Sophia commented caustically, as she walked up to them and took in the position they were in,although they had not done anything wrong she felt guilty.
"Sophia" she replied.
"Bitch what's your problem,can't you just stay away from my boyfriend, or are you obsessed with him or are you blind that you do not notice that he has a girlfriend?" She asked looking Gwen over from head to toe and found her lacking after the inspection.
"What?" Gwen asked with her facial expressions comical looking.
"You heard me,bitch" she replied smirking

"Sophia ,that's enough what has come over you?" Lucas asked as he stood up from beside her.
"Nothing,just telling this thing where her place is" she replied.
Before she could reply to Sophia,the last people in the maze came out,her sister was first,two emotions flooded her at that moment,relief for her sister and disappointment that they lost.

"Toni" Jeffrey called to her as she came out of the maze ,she walked towards them ,they pulled her for a hug,congratulating her.
"That was a close call" the girl from earlier commented,Tonia still did not know her name.
"That's true Naomi" Jeff replied, guess the girls name was Naomi.
"I told you she should not have been allowed to compete she almost caused us the challenge " Erica stated.
"Am sorry" Tonia replied,know what she said was true.
"Erica that's enough,not everyone is as fast as you are" Jeffrey said ending the conversation.

"Well you all have it,the winner of this challenge is sect B, you all should take this few hours to recoup as the next challenge would be announced tomorrow and it might not be what you are all expecting" the head mistress announced to the whole school.
