Savanna POV:
Finally, the bell for lunch rang as students raided the halls eager to fill their stomachs with fatty food items. I waited until the hallway was clear and quiet walking up to my locker to grab my phone and lunch card. "Hey, you coming?" I turned to see Weston walking by with his friends taking a pause from the conversation. "Yeah, I am just going to freshen up a little. Save me a seat?" He nodded in reply turning back to his friends to continue there chatter about today's lunch. I walked into the restroom trying to fish my lip gloss out from bag when the chatter from two girls admiring themselves in the mirror stopped. I looked up as they both stared in weirdness like I was some alien from another planet. One of them approached me noticing her slim body figure and perfect plump lips with a mauve look. She was perfect, like the popular girl in all of the movies that got everything and had always the right features and got all the guys. She flipped her long, plush blonde hair and looked me up and down. I felt like i was a mouse surrounded by two hungry cats ready to pounce and tear me to shreds when she squealed, "OMG! Aren't you the new girl?" I nodded slowly as the girl behind her walked up next to her smiling. I felt my face become hot and sweaty as they both just stared. "That's so cool! I'm Braley and this is Kayla." I gave a light smile as the blonde, Kayla, kept staring at me like my dad used to when I was in trouble. Braley was the same height as Kayla with short golden hair. She was small and petite, the kind guys like to hold and cuddle with. I got the sense they were both mean, vicious, popular girls that I swore myself to stay away from this year. But i had 0 friends. The only person I knew here was Weston and even though its only the first day, I need to socialize. I smiled and nicely said, "Nice to meet you guys. I'm Savanna." They nodded as Kayla turned to the mirror still looking at me. "You know your really pretty, you should hang with us." I smiled feeling a little spark inside of my stomach along with a little hungriness. "Thanks, and that would be really cool." Braley turned to apply some lip gloss when Kayla took my arm and headed for the door. "Hurry up Braley!" She hissed taking me out into the hall. "Where are we going?" "Lunch! Duh. Your sitting with us today." I nodded but remembered Weston and immediately felt worried. If i declined their offer, they would most likely not talk to me again and treat me as an outcast. But if i agree, then Weston will be upset. Crap! Then it hit me. "Hey, how about you sit with me and my friend-uh boyfriend Weston. We could all hang out together." Suddenly i heard a gasp from behind me as Braley ran in front of me to stop me. "Wait, like seriously!? Weston.....Weston Koury? Oh my god! Wait, you guys are dating?" I gave a confused look and turned to Kayla. She had a look of excitement and shock. "Ummm yeah. We are. He lives right next to me." They both turned towards each other and had looks of amazement like they had just discovered bubble gum sparkle lip gloss. Their eyes widened and started squealing as I slowly took a step back. "Yes!! We would love too." I slowly nodded and gave a light chuckle and said, "Okay?" This should be interesting i thought .
Weston Pov:
I sat at the lunch table waiting for Savanna. "Yo Weston!" I looked over as I saw Ian heading towards the table with a lunch tray. I nodded and said, "Hey Ian." My eyes shifted from him to the door immediately when Savanna walked in followed by two other girls. Who were they? I stood and waved them over now sweating more nervously then I was before. "Hey,"I said as the two girls silently squealed and waved while Savanna rolled her eyes and said, "Hi." She sat down followed by the two girls as she sighed and gave a fake smile. "Weston this is Braley and Kayla," she said pointing to me as I nodded and said, "Whats up." Their faces lit up and their smiles widened even more then before. "H-h-hi!" Braley screamed. I jumped and nodded as I looked over at Savanna. She was very uncomfortable. I went back to my lunch in silence hoping these two fan girls would leave me alone. But I was wrong. When Savanna got up to get some lunch, the two girls slid next to me taking her seat. I slowly looked over at them as one of them said, "Hiiiiii!" I nodded and forced a smile. They sat there and just stared at me watching me eat when Savanna came back and scooted them over to sit down. I felt some relief as I whispered to Savanna, "Can I talk to you out in the hall?" She nodded and we both got up and headed to the hallway. "Stay here guys," she said to Braley and Kayla. They nodded watching my every movement until I was out of their sight. "What's going on. Who they heck are they?" I said in a low voice. She chuckled and replied, "What, I can't have friends Weston? I met them in the bathroom and they were really nice so I invited them to sit with us." Her smile faded when a smile didn't appear on my face. "I know and that's great. But they are fangirls. Annoying, annoying fangirls." "So what, you think they are using me? Weston that's stupid." I sighed and nodded, "Ok, ok whatever." I said turning away when her arm touched mine. "Weston, what's wrong?" I took a pause and said, "I just really wanted to sit and talk with you. Just you and I. But it's ok." She frowned and mumbled, "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't-" "It's ok." I said as I grabbed her hand and kissed her on the cheek. I smiled looking into her eyes when I looked over at Kayla and Braley staring directly at us. Their faces looked as they might explode with rage. "Oh shit...." I muttered. "What?" Savanna said turning her head to find them walking over to us. "Crap," she whispered. They both walked past us folding their arms and not looking at us. When they were gone, Savanna and I busted out laughing so hard that tears were in our eyes. We both walked back into the lunch room and sat down returning to our lunch still giggling. Just her and I.
