Kei was stressed.
"Yamaguchi Tadashi" he kept saying to himself.
He could swear that he has heard that name somewhere before.
It's been less than 24 hours since he last saw him, yet he went through all the social media to find him.
No luck.
He was nowhere to be found.
Yet, Kei wanted to find him, he wanted to know who this Yamaguchi Tadashi really was.
Is he just a simple boy? What school does he go to? What does he like?
Today, he will go to the library again. Hopefully, he will be there.
~~~
Of course he was there.
He seemed the same as always. The only thing that was different were his clothes.
He was wearing a bit oversized black sweater and blue skinny jeans. His coat was hanging on his chair and Kei could see a black beanie hidden in one of the pockets of the coat.
Stylish.
His hair was a bit messier than usual.
He seemed more focused than usual.
Maybe it was because of the book he was reading?
Kei walked closer, trying to see what he was reading.
He was surprised when he saw that it was not an actual book, but a manuscript.
"Where did you get that?" Kei blurted out.
Yamaguchi gasped and turned around, closing the manuscript.
"H-Hey.. That's uhh.. It's a secret" he said, nervous.
Kei didn't want to pester him, so he just kinda sat down in front of him.
"You come here everyday?" he asked.
Kei knew that Yamaguchi came here everyday, why would he even ask this question?
"I-I guess? And you?" Yamaguchi put the manuscript into his bag.
His bag was rather dirty as if it had fallen into mud.
"Yeah, I come here everyday too" Kei looked around to see if there was anyone listening to their conversation. Luckily, there wasn't.
"Why?" Yamaguchi looked at Kei, waiting for the answer. But he stayed quiet. He wasn't ready to talk yet.
"It's okay, you don't have to tell me" Yamaguchi said. He ran his fingers through his messy hair.
To Kei, everything happened in slowmotion.
He focused on Yamaguchi's face for a mere second, noticing the freckles on his cheeks, the bags under his eyes, his deep green eyes. He saw how a few strands of hair fell on his forehead.
Was this boy always so beautiful?
Why is Kei seeing him like this?
Yamaguchi closed his eyes for a second and when he opened them he was met by a pair of golden eyes.
He stared back at Kei.
His eyes were a beautiful honey color and Yamaguchi found them extremely pretty.
It was his first time seeing eyes like Kei's.
They kept looking at eachother and Kei couldn't help, but feel butterflies in his stomach.
Why was this boy who's name he only got to know yesterday making him feel like this?
Since when did Kei want to run his fingers through Yamaguchi's hair?
Since when did Yamaguchi look so fragile?
A sound of a book falling shook both of them out of their thoughts.
Yamaguchi looked to the direction where the sound came from, while Kei couldn't help but notice Yamaguchi's ear piercing.
Gosh, it suit him.
"Jeez, I should go now" Yamaguchi said and stood up. He took his bag and looked at Kei who was still staring at him. At how perfect he looked.
Yamaguchi wasn't very tall, he had a good sense of style. His oversized sweater fit him perfectly, covering his thin waist and skinny arms.
He took his phone out of his pockets and looked at the time. Kei had to notice that his lockscreen was a picture of a semicolon for some reason. Was it because he liked to read?
"You never told me your name" Yamaguchi said.
Kei blinked a few times.
"It's Tsukishima Kei"
"Well, it's nice to meet you, Tsukki" Kei felt his heart skip a beat when he hears him say that.
He usually hates nicknames, but when Yamaguchi said it, he felt as if he was in heaven.
Yamaguchi was about to leave, but turned around and waved to Kei, smiling faintly.
He froze in his seat.
Yamaguchi Tadashi is a beautiful creation.
