Chapter 13

Bre's  POV

Hesitantly I got out of the car and went inside. I quickly caught sight of Ashley. "Where's Andy and Sophia?" I asked aproaching them."Sophia went to chang out of the dress and Andy went to go look for Matt." Jake simply said.

Suddenly someone came up behind me, wrapping their arms around me in a big hug. A smile quickly grew on my face. I turned around and saw CC standing there with a smile on his face. "I'm sorry our hug was cut short earlier." he said with apologetic eyes and open arms with a sad smile on his face.

"It's fine" I said wrapping my arms around him ignoring the fact that he's in a relationship. We stood there hugging while we heard 'aww's' soming from the guys, Sammi, and Ella. Someone cleared their throat. "Fuck" CC said just loud enough for me to hear. He let go and turned around to see Angelica standing there with her arms crossed, tapping her foot, with a look on her face that's directed towards me, clearly telling me to watch my back. 

She pulled CC away again. I was about to follow her and save CC when my path was blocked by her friends. I backed up enough to where I was standing inbetween Jake and Ashley. Who both looked ready to knock someone out. Ash wrapped his arm around my waist protectivly and dragged me away wwith the others following. We walked outside and even though I tried my best to hide my pain, Sophia still seemed to notice, even with my sunglasses on. Sophia was next to Andy with his arm around her. She was dressed in a pair of dark faded skinny jeanswith some rips in them and a black band shirt. She gave me a look that told me that she was going to ask what happened but I shook my head telling her it wasn't a big deal and put on a fake smile to make it more convincing. I looked over and saw a table filled with drinks.

"I'm going to get something to drink. Do you want anything?" I asked whispereing to Ashley not wanting to interrupt anyones conversation. "Um...no thanks. Not right now, maybe later." he said smilng at me. I returned a smile and began walking over to the table.

As I got my drink and was about to return to the others, Angelica stood in front of me stopping me in my tracks. We were about the same hieght except maybe she was about an inch shorter than me. I knew that if we started fighting I could easily beat her, but with her friends to back her up I wasn't so sure I could take them all on.

"CC is my boyfriend so back off! If you don't then they will teach you a lesson." Angelica said pointing to her friends standing behind her. "Don't worry we're not together and I'm not trying to get him back...I don't love him anymore." I said not wanting to but knowing that if I didn't then something awful would happen to me or CC. I pushed past them, walking back to the others. I noticed that someone was talking to Sophia, someone I didn't recognize.

"Hey Bre this is Jessica." said Sophia once I joined the group. "Hi nice to meet you Jessica." I said shaking her hand. "You can call me Jess. A lot of people do." she said quickly. I ignored what Angelica said to me and noticed that Jess, Sophia, and I were dressed similar except for the fact that my shirt was plain and they had on band shirts. I looked at the ground and smiled.

"What?" Jess and Sophia said at the same time. I looked up at them and said "Look at what how we're dressed 1. we're dressed similar and 2. We're at a wedding." They looked at their clothing, then at what each of us were wearing, then at what other people were wearing dresses, heels, etc. They quickly understood and burst out laughing, so did I. "Everyone's all nice a formal and then theirs us." Sophia said inbetween laughing, "looks like the wedding was crashed by the bride." Jess said making us laugh again. I could easily tell that the three of us would get along and be best friends from that moment on.

CC's POV

Angelica dragged me out to the car. "What the fuck! You're suppose to be my boyfriend and be loyal and shit!" She yelled throwing her hands in the air. "Can't I give another girl who I'm friends with a poliet hug without you freaking out like this!" I yelled back becoming more angry.

"Yeah but I don't fucking know her. And I just don't want to lose you. Your my entire world." she said coming closer and wrapping her arms around me. I rolled my eyes as she rested her head on my chest. I felt sorry for her and yet at the same time I didn't care. Slowly I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her close.

"You're not going to lose me" I whispered in her ear...'at least not for awhile' but didn't say the last part. I felt her smile and she began to pull back when she stood on her toes and gave me a quick kiss on the lips. We walked back in when Angelica had a smile on her face while looking out the back window. I couldn't tell what she was looking at because there were people blocking my view. 

"I'll be right back." she said walking to the backyard. I shrugged it off and just waited. I walked closer to the window and saw Bre walking to the others. I wanted to go and apologize, again, for earlier when Angelica walked back in with a smirk on her face with her friends following right behind. I got a sick feeling in my stomach. 

Angelica walked up to me and tried to talk to me but I walked outside to be with the others. I stood next to Bre and put my arm around her shoulder but she shrugged my arm off. I awkwardly stood next to Bre and tried to join in on what the others were talking about ut couldn't

Bre's POV

CC walked over to the group and put his arm over my shoulders. I saw Angelica in one of the windows glaring at me. I shrugged his arm off and saw the hurt in his eyes. I wanted to tell him what was going on but decided against it. It was getting dark and chilly so we headed back inside. What Angelica said kept bothering me so I had a few drinks to ease my nerves. CC was buzzed, Ashley was drunk, Jake was buzzed and sitting on the couch crying because he missed his girlfriend, Sophia and Jess were buzzed, Andy was drunk and for Jinxx and Sammi they were no where to be seen. I haven't seen Angelica for awhile but every now and then I would see one of her minions watching me.

A slow song started playing. It was the same song that played on my first date with CC. Imediatly I wanted to cry but held it back. I looked at the ground as I saw Angelica drag CC out to the dancefloor. I was about to cry when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Ashley standing there slightly swaying with sadness in his eyes. He grabbed my hand and started pulling me towards CC.

"Ash don't." I said looking at him as we got closer. "Don't worry" he said smirking. We got there but Ash didn't stop walking, he let go of my hand and grabbed Angelica as he passed by. A smile was on my face as I figured out what he was doing. CC smiled at me and asked "Do you want to dance?" I nodded 'yes' as he puton hand on my waist and gently held my other hand. We started slow dancing when we stopped all of a sudden.

"Hold on" he said as he reached for my sunglasses,taking them off. "There now I can see your beautiful eyes." he said putting them in this back pocket. We talked while dancing. The song came to an end all to soon, CC grabbed my hand and kissed the back of it. 

CC's POV 

I was so happy with Bre by my side I forgot all about Angelica. After we were done dancing I didn't want her to leave my side in fear of becoming empty and lonely so I grabbed her hand and dragged her outside to the backyard. We walked to a tree far enough away from the party. We sat down and I noticed that she was slightly shivering, so I pulled her close and wrapped my arm around her. She smiled up at me and rested her head on my chest like she use to when we were together.

"I missed you" I heard her say barely loud enough to where I nearly missed it. I smiled and lifted her chin up to where she would look at me. We didn't say anything but looked into each others eyes. I could tell by the look in her eyes that she still loved me, which gave me hope that there could still be an us once again. Slowly I leaned in and kissed her on the lips. I've missed doing that. Time slowed down and eveything seemed to fade away. It was just me and Bre sitting under a tree, alone with nothing to care about. I licked her bottom lip for entry when we heard someone clear their throat. We broke apart and looking up, Angelica stood there. Bre's eyes grew slightly wide when she noticed Angelica's friends were stood behind her. 

"What did I tell you that would happen if you didn't  back off?" She said looking at Bre who was becoming angry.

'Fuck this isn't going to end well.'
