She Lost Him...

Chapter 6: Murderer

They meet a bunch of new people, also new at Seokyeong College and thought it was cool if they became friends.

Their names were, Byun Baekhyun, Kim Hyoyeon and Lee Jihoon. They hung out together for a few hours and had lunch together at one of Vernon's fave cafe.

As they walked down the path, making their way back to the apartments, they pass Joshua, who seemed to be stressed. Sunny and Vernon went over to him. "Yo, bro, you okay?" Vernon asked with a soft, gentle tone but worried at the same time. "I'm fine, its okay, you dont have to worry about me," Joshua replied as he walked off, stumbling as if he was about to faint. Is he actually okay? Sunny asked to herself, Vernon looked so worried for him and Sunny just had to hug him to try and cheer him up. Joshua, then stumbled and fell, and screaming in pain and was being hit by a bunch of boys and took a bat to his head.

They rushed over in a panic, Josua, broke his ankle and a bleeding skull. Teacher rushed and ambulence came to take him to the hospital.
Vernon panicked and panicked. Sunny tried to calm him down when they reached the apartment. He couldn't calm down. He was so worried for his friend. Sunny suggested they visit the hospital but he didn't want to. Sunny was so upset for him, she didn't know what to do.

Vernon wished he had beat the shit out of the boys who hit his head with the bat. He locked himself in the bedroom making Sunny, worried sick.

He came out, his eyes were puffy and red. He walked over to Sunny and just hugged her, crying on her shoulder. She was so heartbroken after what she has just witnessed so she hugged him back.

23:39pm

They headed to bed and Vernon felt a bit less sad but just didn't feel sleepy. Sunny, who couldn't fall asleep either just decided to text her friend but was stopped by Vernon with a swipe of hand making her drop her phone onto the duvet.

He climbed onto Sunny and just cuddled her, which then turned it a kiss, then a passionate kiss. Sunny rubbed her hands up and down his back and placed her hands under his shirt. He took his shirt off, revealing his abs and muscly arms and started to remove Sunny's top too, revealing her baby pink bra. They continued kissing for almost the rest of the night.

03:00am

Sunny woke up, in the middle of the night hearing a bang from outside. She tried waking up Vernon but only moaned as it seemed that he was already comfortable in the warm bed.

SCREAMS AND CRASHES!!

Vernon finally woke up to the noise and sat up in an instant. Sunny and Vernon both look at each. Sunny quickly ran to the window noticing a car being crashed into a building a someone holding a gun up at someone.

Sunny, who was only in a bra and panties, looked at the half naked Vernon who was in his boxers, was also looking out the window, he whispered "Let's go find out what's happening, so put your clothes on."

They both put their clothes on and rushed out.
Sunny stopped half way as she saw who it was holding the gun, Faith Lee.

Sunny, was, was shocked, seeing her friend standing there about to shoot the teenage girl.
"F-Faith?!" Sunny shouted in a shocked tone making Vernon stop. "SUNNY!!!!! OMG I MISS YOU-"

"Don't fucking hug me! W-Why do you have a gun? Why were you about to shoot this inno-"
Sunny looked at the teenage girl, she didn't recognise her at first but then...
She realised it was her little sister.

"FAITH, WHY WERE YOU GONNA SHOOT MY SISTER?! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH SHE MEANS TO ME?! WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU!? We can't be BFFs anymore if you do this to me. Come here, Dara, I'll take you to my apartment. And you can get out of my sight until you apologise for what you have done to me," Sunny shouted as she held Dara's cold hands and Vernon's arm made his way to her waist.

They walked back to the apartment and Faith was annoyed and triggered the gun and aimed it at Sunny.

"If you dont come back here Dara, say goodbye to your sister..." Faith shot the gun and aimed it at Sunny but the bullet hit Dara right into her shoulder. "YES!! I GOT YOU NOW!! Say goodbye to your little sister bitch!"

Sunny fell onto her knees as she was about to loose her one and only sister which she might not be able to see her anymore, "CALL THE AMBULENCE VERNON!! QUICKLY!!" Sunny shouted as her tears fell onto Dara's bloody little cheek who was in Sunny's shaky arm.

The ambulence came and so did the police. Faith was arrested for 3 months, Sunny wasn't happy with her at all as she stepped into the ambulence with Vernon, holding onto her sisters hand.

Vernon felt so sorry and had to let Sunny cry on his shoulder.

They arrive at the hospital.

"She will have to have surgery due to the x-ray the bullet is still in her shoulder. She'll recover in 10 days after the surgery but when she gets out of the surgery room, she'll be asleep for 4-8 hours if the surgery doesn't take long," said the doctor in a gentle tone. Sunny turned and dug her face into Vernon's chest and cries more. "Okay, doc, but is it okay if we come back tomorrow, we have college..." said Vernon gently.

"That's perfectly fine but you'll have to fill out the form to say what happened and then you can leave."

"Thanks, so where do we fill the form?"

"At the reception."

"Oh Okay."

They both walk to the reception to get the form to fill it out. "Do you want me to fill it out for you?" asked Vernon in a quiet voice so that Sunny was able to hear it, and she nodded as she felt a bit tired.

20 minutes later...

They make their way home. Vernon was carrying Sunny bridal style as it seemed she has already fallen asleep.

"I can walk from here," Sunny said quietly as Vernon removed the arm under leg so that she could stand onto the floor and walked to the door.

It was unlocked already...

"What? The door's unlocked? I'm sure I locked it behind me..." Sunny said in a worried and confused voice. Sunny was starting to stumble and almost fall over. Vernon caught her just before she fell and had to carry her again.

"Sunny, you're not feeling well, you should get some sleep."

It was another day of college and Vernon was the first one to wake up this time. Sunny looked more pale than ever. He began to worry, he felt her temperature and it was high. Her head felt so hot...

Sunny woke up and didn't no where Vernon had disappeared to. She walked out and saw Vernon on his phone on the L shaped couch. He looked up at Sunny who was rubbing her puffy red eyes and pointed to the medicine on the coffee table and told her to sit next to him.

They both got ready but Sunny took quite long as she wasn't feeliing well.

Today they went to college and posters about Faith Lee were up everywhere.
