2 months later...
Sunny and Vernon were changing Hyunsoo's room around and moving the crib into another room so that Hyunsoo could have a room to herself.
Hyunsoo was at school at the time and was getting ready to move on from Nursery to 1st grade. Hyunsoo was quite upset after hearing that Taehyung won't be in her classes anymore, it broke both their hearts.
Back to Sunny and Vernon...
"Babe, can you get that for me? You're taller," Sunny asked, pointing at the glass cup.
"Sure thing," replied Vernon, grabbing the cup and placing it onto the counter.
"Thank you!"
"No problem."
Sunny filled it up with water and drank it in one go.
"Woah, jeez, how much water do you need?!" Asked Vernon, watching her fill the cup up again.
"A lot," replied Sunny, chugging down another cup, and filled up the last time.
"Woah, stop there, you're gonna need the toilet."
"So?"
"So, you should stop drinking it."
Sunny placed the cup down slowly, smirking a little. Vernon kissed her forehead and walked away. Sunny drank the cup as he turned to walk out of the kitchen.
Sunny walked into the living room, wiping her mouth with her sleeve to get rid of any access water on her lips.
"You drank that last cup didn't you?" Asked Vernon, smiling at her.
"No, what are you talking about?" Sunny lied, and sat onto the couch.
"You silly girl."
"Shut up! I was thirsty okay?"
"But you didn't need three cups of water!"
"I did!"
"You did not!"
"I really di-"
Ding dong!
"I need another drink..." Sunny whispered, walking to the kitchen again.
Vernon stood up and unlocked the door revealing a man, and an ambulance behind him.
"Er, how can I help you?" Asked Vernon, confusingly.
"Does Sunny Soonkyu live here?" The man asked.
"Yeah... Why?"
"It's her mother..."
Sunny dropped the glass cup as it smashed, opening her mouth, spilling the water onto the floor.
"Erm excuse me! What about my mom?" Sunny asked, pushing Vernon away lightly and stepping in front of him.
"She's dying..." The man replied, looking sad.
Sunny froze. Sh-she's dying? She thought to herself.
"Where is she?!?" Sunny yelled as tears started to fall, "answer me!!"
"She's in hospital but you are not allowed to see her for a few days."
Sunny cried and cried, dropping onto the floor whilst her tears fell onto the ground like they were forming a puddle.
"Is there any chance she'll survive?" Vernon asked.
"Not sure, but by the looks of it, I don't think she will," the man answered, "sorry to bring this bad news so suddenly."
"No, it's okay."
