She Lost Him...

Chapter 12: Gone.

It was Monday, another week of their holiday has started. Vernon was nowhere to be found. Sunny received a message, from Vernon.

TO: Sunshine
I'll be gone for 2 weeks. I left my engagement ring on the coffee table. Look after it for me and remember me while I'm gone. I'm breaking up with you, for two weeks...
FROM: Vernnie

Sunny froze.

She wandered around the apartment thinking of a reason why Vernon would leave just like that! She texted everyone. Everyone was also shocked, except for one person. Sehun. Sunny called him to make it quicker instead of typing.

She waited for him to answer.

"Hello?" Sehun said from across the line.

"Hi, its me Sunny, erm, do you know where Vernon has disappeared to?"

"Erm, he told me not to tell you, but if you want me to tell you, do you want to meet somewhere?"

"Erm, sure, how about Sulbing cafe? At 12pm?"

"Sure, sounds good, see you at 12pm."

"Okay, see you then."

Sunny ended the call. Sehun is up to something...

12:00pm

Sunny walks to Sulbing and Sehun was waiting outside, with a huge smile. They walk into the cafe and ordered their drinks. "So, you wanna know where Vernon has disappeared to? Well, since he found out you're preggo, he wanted some time to himself," said Sehun as he took a sip from his coffee.

"But why didn't he tell me? Why would he leave his ring for me to look after it for him for 2 weeks fucking weeks?!" asked Sunny as she took out the ring from her pocket and gazed at it.

"I don't know fully, but he sent me a message telling me about that and I didn't really understand it so you can read it yourself."

Sehun took out his phone and gave it to Sunny, who read it in confusion.

The message said, "I'm leaving my ring at my apartment and I'm leaving it because I don't want to feel lonely and don't want to get love sick easily so that's why I'm leaving it behind. This message might not make sense but you can kinda get it."

Sunny didn't want to cry in front of Sehun (even though he was her best friend). "Hey, do you want to hang at mine for a bit, I mean no one else is free right now but I am, I'll let you cry on my shoulder," added Sehun as he smiled a bit. Sunny nodded as she put the ring back into her pocket. They finish their coffee and headed to Sehun's house.

They walk through the door, walked straight to the living room. Sunny was sad, she wouldn't be able to see her loved one for 2 weeks... That made her cry so hard she just had to lean on Sehun to cry.

She cried and cried and Sehun thought it would be better if she stayed at Sehun's house for the night.

She stayed for the night, crying herself to sleep.

1 week has past and Sunny has not slept once. Every night she would cry herself to sleep and wake up with puffy eyes and only get about 4 hours sleep. She has been rejecting lots of invites to hangout with her friends and they start to worry. SUNNY WAS LOVE SICK!

2 weeks later...

Vernon was still not home and nowhere to be found... "When are you coming home?" whispered Sunny as she looked at her phone, a tear running down her delicate cheeks...
