Cyber love - Markiplier x reader

There wasn't anything you loved more than playing games it was a hobby that turned into a passion and then into a career. After 7 months of trying hard to create enjoyable videos and getting almost nothing views and subscriber wise. But you eventually got your break when a certain markiplier reached out to you and asked if you would like to make a video with him. You accepted in a heartbeat. Making the video with mark was fun and you really enjoyed yourself plus seeing your subscriber count go up was also a welcoming feeling. After months of trying you had finally became a YouTuber.

You had no idea how to make it up to mark for helping you get your new job started. So you decided to do a lot more videos with him. You ended up meeting so many wonderful and funny people by playing games with mark: Bob, Wade, Jack and even pewdiepie.

On this particular day you were playing a gmod horror map with both mark and a new close friend yaminash. You hadn't gotten very far into the level and you were already stuck on a puzzle. Mark had already tried cheating his way through but after many attempts it was clear that it wasn't going to work. Yamimash had also tried a few things but to no avail. Then you figured it out. Seeing that mark was the only one holding the crowbar you told him to hit a certain spot on the wall. He did this and with a loud 'metallic' sound the wall came crashing down. All three of you cheered in sync.

"Oh yeah I'm sooo strong," he boosted. You rolled you eyes and laughed. Hearing Yamimash muttering something in the background.

"What about me I tried stuff too," Aaron complained but mark just laughed his incurably manly laugh.

"You did nothing!" Mark taunted. "your the useless one in the this team. I'm strong and (name) is smart." Aaron made his character model look down in a sulking fashion.

"(Name) you don't think I'm useless do you?" He asked. Now what?

"Well mark does have a point," you admitted.

"Ha! see your useless at everything!" Mark yelled, his voice so loud it nearly blew your headphones and you had to turn his volume down.

"Not at everything," Aaron protested but mark only interrupted with an 'everything' every time he spoke. You couldn't help but laugh, these two were like a comedy duo.

"Well," Aaron began, "if I'm useless at everything then how come I'm the only one out of the three of us who is in a proper relationship hm?" You stopped laughing and mark went silent.

"Mark, he played the relationship card what do we do?" You asked turning your character model to face him. He did the same.

"Um...ur...that's not true because...." he stopped to think about his next words. You were no help as you weren't quite sure where he was going with this. "B-because! Me and (name) our in a relationship!"

"We are?"
"You are?" You and yamimash asked in sinc. "When did this happen?" He added. Mark looked at you signalling that it was your turn to answer.

"A-a while ago we did a video today. The game was quite romantic and things happen I guess," you lied. Aaron didn't seem to believe you but he went along with it anyway. After that you continued the game and despite the odd comments from Aaron the 'romance' between you and Mark was never mentioned. That was until the end of the level. A big sign written in red stating 'two must be sacrificed' stood above two small boxes. You all looked at each other wondering who would be the sacrificed. The silence went on for a while until it was finally broken by Aaron.

"Well I think you too love birds should go in," he suggested.

"Great idea!" Mark agreed getting into one of the boxes. There was a faint click sound but other than that nothing seemed to happen. "Come on (name)!" He yelled beckoning you in.

"No way!" You yelled running to the corner of the room and crouching down, "I don't want to die!"

"Come on (name) it will be really romantic. Till death due as part kinda thing," Aaron stated convincingly. You sighed and with lots of encouragement from Mark you finally got into the box. As expected another click and then the disappearance of the floor. The two of you suddenly found yourselves screaming in sync ,mixed with a little laughed, as you fell down the ridiculously long hole until finally you were met with a red screen saying 'a noble sacrifice'.

"Yes! I won!" Yami yelled obviously content with his flawed victory. All three of you laughed for a few minutes. Mark was the first to stop. The video was going on his channel so he needed to do an outtro and despite him yelling at you to be quite yami and you continued to giggle and mutter funny comments. Eventually he ended it.

Now off camera the three of you stretched your arms and back, complete with a yawn from yami. You had been sat playing with them for nearly 2 hours.
"Well I don't know about you guys but I'm going to bed. Good night," and after a few good night's from you and Mark Aaron turned off his Skype and went to bed. Leaving just you and Mark in chat.

"So..." mark began, "that was fun." You nodded and tried to laugh away the now awkward silence.

"Yeah have fun editing that video," you commented earning a sigh from Mark. Apparently he had forgotten about that part. And with the 2 hour long footage it was likely that he was going to have to split it into two.

"Help me sweetie?" He asked in his charming and flirtatious tone. You shifted on your chair trying to get your left leg to wake up.

"Mark Aaron isn't here you don't have to pretend were a couple anymore," you joked but mark just pouted.

"But I kinda liked having you as my girlfriend," he admitted. Your face went red and your heart beat frantically sped up. You knew about marks love life being pretty none existent, a bit similar to yours, but you weren't just gonna throw yourself at this guy. Admittedly you did have feelings for this ever so strong and hansom man, like every fan girl in the world, but still you had some dignity.

"Mark seriously stop joking now," you chuckled hiding your nervousness.

"But seriously I really do like you," mark began and you already knew where this was going, "ever since the first game we played I realized how nice a person you are. I love your personality. I love your jokes, your laugh and I even love the way you play games and solve puzzles. I think I love you (name)!" you froze unable to completely understand anything. You tried to say something but the words just wouldn't come out. So you did the only thing you could do. While mark awaited your reply you quickly exited Skype then turning off your computer.

"Well couldn't have gone any worse," you sighed crawling into your bed and trying to think up ways of explaining what just happened to mark. You felt so bad but you kept trying to assure yourself it was the right thing to do though you knew that it wasn't.
