One Night Stand (Camila/you)

The Day After

"Y/N someone's at the door" Camila mumbled into my chest. "Get up and get it" i said lazily. "I'm tired you get it" She said to me and turned around. We both laid there until the knocking stopped.

"See they went away" I said and she looked over her shoulder at me. "I should really get going I have to go do stuff" she said turning fully around looking into my eyes. "Stay for a while" I said kissing her nose. "You and me know that I shouldn't" she said "remember Dinah will hurt you". "It'll be just a hang out. Nothing else. Besides Dinah's going to be working all day" I responded quickly before she got up . "We can watch a movie grab a pizza. It'll be fun I promise" I said with a smile . "Okay but I'm only going for the pizza and you have to take me home to shower" she said grabbing her things and walking out. "Deal. I'll just shower quick and then we can leave".

It was 2:00 when I was done showering i changed into some warm close and I grabbed a coat since it was windy outside. "Ready to go" I asked. "Yup so are we staying at my hotel room or coming back here" she asked. "We can stay at your place if you want" I said making our way to my dodge charger. I opened the passenger door for her like a gentleman and then made my way to the drivers seat. "So I never asked what are you in the city for" I asked her.

"Dinah got me an job interview here hoping I'll move back " she responded.
"What do you work in" I asked making small talk on our way to her hotel. "I work as a district attorney in Miami" she said proudly.

"Your a lawyer too" she asked. "No law school is too expensive I'm a police officer" I said. "Oh really I wouldn't picture you as an officer" she said and laughed. "Turn right on the next street" she added. "Haha. It's not how everyone expects it to be" I said. "What do you mean" she asked. "It's not that exciting. It's actually really boring" I said thinking about how I'm always doing paperwork instead of arresting criminals.

"You're not happy with your job" she asked me seriously. "Not at all. I actually quit" I said. "I made my decision yesterday" I said parking In front of the hotel. "You have a plan right" she asked startled by what I just told her. "Of course I do. I have a degree in business" I told her getting out of the car and opening the door for her. "Your crazy you know that" she said with a smile on her face stepping out of the car. "It's never too late for change, right" I said. "Never. Let's head up" she said starting to walk. "How about I go pick up the movie and pizza while you shower" I said walking her to the lobby. "Okay Room 303" we hugged and then I was on my way back out.

I made my way to the closest pizza parlor and settled on just a plain pepperoni pizza because I forgot to ask her what she wanted on it. "Hi welcome to johns pizza what can I get for you" the cashier asked. "One large pepperoni pizza and a bottle of coca cola" I said. "That'll be 9.83". I handed her 10 dollars and waited for it to be ready.

"Hey Y/N haven't seen you in a while" I heard someone say while I was sitting at a table. I looked up and was meet with two familiar pairs of eyes. "Hey Laur hey Normani haven't seen you either" I said as I hugged them. "What are you doing all alone here" Lauren asked. "Oh I was just getting something to eat" I told them. I haven't seen them in about 2 weeks. Lauren's always busy running her art business. Which involves poetry, art, and photography.  Shes well known in the city. And Normani has a dance studio downtown. It's quite successful. She tried to teach me but I can't get the hang of it.

"If your not doing anything you should hang with us" Normani asked. "I would love to but maybe tomorrow. I have a lot of paperwork to do for the station" i said when my number got called. "That's me. Group chat later to make plans" I said and hugged them goodbye. "Okay talk to you later Y/N/N(your nickname)"

I made my way back to the hotel and to her room. I knocked and waited for an answer. "Hey back already" she said answering the door "Yeah I went to the- um" I started stuttering once I looked up and seen her with a towel wrapped around her body and hair. "The what" she said noticing me staring at her. "Oh the closest pizza shop. I can wait out here till you're done" I suggested. "No come in the living rooms over there" she said pointing towards the door.

After about 15 minutes of me being looking for a movie she finally walked out looking flawless. Her hair was let down still a little damp from her shower. "Stop staring your making me nervous" she said tucking her hair behind her ear looking down shyly. "You're too beautiful not to look at" I responded to her. "You know how to charm a girl" she said. "I'm just telling you the truth" I said. "So what are we watching" she asked and sat down next to me. "Minions" I said pushing play.

We grabbed some pizza and spent the afternoon lounging on the couch watching different movies and getting to know each other. "How come we never meet" she asked. "We did meet Dinah introduced us to each other" I told her. "No I mean we know the same people but we've never actually meet" she asked curiously. "Well I went to UC Davis while everyone stayed here. And I'm guessing you moved here when I left" I said. "But still it just seems odd. We should have at least meet we're both close to the same people" she said. "That is odd. Maybe they didn't want us to meet" I said and she just shrugged.

The last movie we watched was the visit. She was cuddled into my side scared when I got a phone call. I tried to get up but she was clinging onto me. "Hello" I said into the phone. "Hey Y/N what are you doing" my sister Ally asked me. "I'm at Oliver's house" I lied to her about where I was at. "Okay mom and dad are coming into town on Friday, so I was thinking we could have a barbecue with them and invite our friends" she said. "Okay we're doing it at your house right" I asked her. "Yes make sure to tell Ollie this time" she said. Long story short the last time all of us got together I forgot to invite Oliver and he thought we didn't want to hang out with him. "And I'll also invite Laur and mani" I said. "Goodnight Y/N" she said. "Goodnight Ally" I said and hung up.

"Did you just lie to your sister" Camila asked. "She might take it the wrong way and she'd tell Dinah without meaning to" I said to her. "Oh and Dinah's going to invite you to a barbecue we're having on Saturday" I told her. "Who's house" she asked. "Ally's and Dinah's because the actually have a backyard" I said a turned to the screen. 

We finished watching the movie. "Okay well it's late I should get going" I told her as I looked at the clock realizing it was almost 10. "I'll walk you out" she said and walked me to the front door. "Here's my number incase you need to call me for whatever reason" I said nervously and handed her a piece of paper with my number on it. "I'll make sure I use it" she said and took it. "Okay I'll see you later" I said walking backwards and bumping into someone. "Sorry" I mumbled and left the hotel. I made my way back to my apartment and texted Lauren and Normani once I got there.

Y/N: Family barbecue on Saturday ally's and Dinah's place.
Mani: If Dinah's there I'm there
Laur: what time
Y/N: idk just come whenever
Laur: okay so when are we hanging out
Normani: tomorrow?
Y/N: can't what about Wednesday  
Laur: that'll work. What are we doing
Normani: we can go to the beach
Y/N: I'm in
Laur: I'm in too
I was about to text back when an unknown call came in.

Camila's POV
"Hello?" They answered confused. "Hey it's me" I responded. "Hey you. What's up" he said. "I just wanted to know if you got home safe" I said. "Yes I got home in one piece" he said. "I had a really good time today and I was  hoping we could do it again" I said as I played nervously with my necklace. I don't know why I'm so nervous he's just a friend. "Yeah we should totally do it again this time we'll go out" he said and I was a bit shocked. "I mean go out to eat not go out like me and you that would be bad" he said nervously. I just chuckled "I mean would it really be that bad" I asked because I think I might have a tiny crush on him. "No it really wouldn't" he said. "Goodnight Y/N" I said hearing what I needed to hear. "Goodnight Camila ill see you Saturday" he said and hung up. Saturday needs to come quick.
