Your P.O.V.

I walked into the transfiguration class, 5 minutes late. It isn't my fault that I had astronomy before, all the way up in the astronomy tower, then transfiguration, down here... so technically, it wasn't my fault I was late.

I walked in slowly and quietly, trying to be unnoticed my McGonagall. "Mrs. L/N why are you late to my class?" I froze and looked up at her, blushing

"Sorry Ma'am" I said, in my most innocent voice. "It won't happen again" I said and she nodded. I sighed and slipped into the seat nearest to me, which happened to belong to my best friend, B/F/N.

"Hey" S/He mumbled and I nodded slightly, not wanting to get into more trouble.

"Now," McGonagall said "I'm going to pair you up with your new partner. You shall sit next to your partner for this whole term. You shall give your partner their homework if they are ever sick and you shall help each other if one of you gets mixed up or can't perform the spell correctly" She said, picking a piece of paper from her desk. She put on her glasses and started to read

"Harry Potter your with.... Luna Lovegood"
"Neville Longbottom with... Hermione Granger"
"Padma Patil with... Gregory Goyle"

I felt bad for her...

"Parvati Patil with... Vincent Crabbe"
"Draco Malfoy with... Pansy Parkinson"
"Cho Chang with... Dean Thomas"
"Seamus Finnigan with... B/F/N
"And finally, Ronald Weasley with Y/N L/N"

I smiled slightly. I have liked Ron since second year... "Everyone please take a seat next to your partner." I stood up and sat next to Ron and smiled slightly.

"Hey..." I said quietly.

"Hi" He said, smiling.

"I'm Y/N L/N" I said, grinning lightly.

"Ron" He said "Ron Weasley"

"Nice to meet you Ron" I said.

"You too Y/N"

~Time skip to a few weeks later. You and Ron are now really good friends and your feelings for him have grown~

I walked down to the quidditch pitch. Ron had practically begged me to go see him play... I had reluctantly agreed. Sports isn't my thing. I prefer books and music. I climbed atop the Y/H stands and focused on Ron's playing, smiling. He kept every single quaffle out and since it was Gryffindor vs. Slytherin, I was happy that Gryffindor were winning.

After the game, Gryffindor won (300- 150) Harry had caught the snitch, so they obviously won. I ran down to the pitch and hugged a sweaty but happy Ron. He seemed surprised but wrapped his arms around me as well, lifting me up and twirling me around. I laughed and kissed his cheek. He smiled and looked at my lips.

"Y/N, I like you... a lot..." Ron said, ears going red. My eyes widened and I looked at him

"I- I like you too..." I said, grinning. He slowly leaned in and I closed the air between us, kissing him like it's the last time, which, I was sure, wasn't the case.
