Cedric Diggory x Reader

Your P.O.V

Cedric and I danced together, his hand on my waist and mine around his neck. I was receiving a jealous look from Cho, but I didn't care.  I had gone to the Yule Ball with Cedric and Cho with Harry, who was to lovestruck to realize she only went with him to have a date.

We danced the night away and he told me he had figured out the egg already. I was very happy with him. We had been going out officially 2 years and we were still going strong. I helped him to learn curses against the dragon and tried to help him with the egg as well.

After the ball, we went to our common room (Hufflepuff) and he kissed me good night. I climbed up the stairs and went to bed, happy.

----------Timeskip to 3rd task----------

I kissed Cedric gently then hugged him again. He was the best competitor yet and I was really worried and had a sick feeling in my stomach "Stay safe" I whispered in his ear. He nodded and made to walk away but I held his hand

"Promise me..." I told him, looking up at him.

"I'll try my love" He told me, kissing me gently again. I tried to show him all the love I could in one kiss but he pulled away shortly after.

"I love you" He whispered and walked away. That was the first time he ever told me that... and I hadn't told him it back.

I climbed onto the stands and waited for him to return,  reading a book. Fleur and Viktor had returned, but no sign of Harry or Cedric. I was growing anxious. Finally, after almost 2 hours, Harry returned, sobbing over someone. I stood up and as I saw a yellow uniform, tears filled my eyes. I started to cry as I ran down the stands, pushing my way through students.

I kneeled besides Cedric's body, sobbing. Professors tried to pry me off but I wouldn't allow them. I held onto it as if he was my life source (Which he was). I never said I love you back Ced... I thought, sobbing harder before whispering a faint,

"I love you"

----------Timeskip to Battle of Hogwarts----------

I hugged Luna, my best friend and we set off to our station (In the Battle of Hogwarts). I ran to Remus and helped him fend off Dolohov, but somehow Dolohov managed to kill Remus. "Remus!" I screamed. After Cedric died, he had helped me a lot.

"No no no no not you too" I cried as I glanced at him, still firing curses at Dolohov.

Somehow I managed to stun Dolohov and ran off to find Tonks. I found her duelling Bellatrix. "Avada Kedavera!!" Bellatrix shouted. Remus and Tonks had recently had Teddy and Remus was already dead... Tonks can't die...

I made a split second decision and jumped in between them, the curse hitting me. I heard Bellatrix shout that horrid curse again, probably at Tonks and a thump, as a body hit the floor.  As I felt my spirit sail away from my body, only one thought filled my mind.
