It was lunchtime. I didn't know that we had to eat in our classroom. Others were eating and chatting while I was just sitting at my table looking around. I felt so lonely. The guy, who helped me with the problem in the class, was gone. I had to admit he was quite cute, but he slept thought-out the lesson, and the teacher didn't even mind.
Someone came to my table and sat in the chair where that blond guy was sitting before. I didn't look up to see who it was, but the person tapped my shoulder to get my attention. I couldn't resist but look. I was met with sparkling eyes and a wide smile. The orange hair complimenting his tan skin and white teeth.
"I'm Taehyung but you can call me V." He said cheerfully. It made me jump in my seat. His smile was contagious, so I smiled back at him.
"I'm Sofia," I replied with a small smile, still kind of confused why was he talking to me.
"Yah! That name is so cute! We should hang out!" He said basically jumping on the chair. I giggled at the hyped boy, he seemed fun.
"Uh, sure."
"Wait, you understood me?" He asked raising his eyebrow.
"Yeah, I learned Korean for fun, but I had to move here. " I explained to the confused boy who was rubbing his fluffy hair. But he smiled anyway.
"Anyway, where is that sleeping grandpa'?" Taehyung asked looking at my tablemates' things. "Let's hide his bag! He will be so mad, but I don't really care."
Soon V was looking for a place where to hide the bag. I sat at the table looking at V as he ran around pushing people aside to find good hiding spot while I just giggled at him. He yelled at me for help, but I shook my head. I didn't want to mess with someone I didn't know. Although that guy helped me with math- nice move from him, it could just be an onetime thing. In the end, his eyes seemed intimidating and I didn't want to mess with that.
As Taehyung was putting the bag on teachers' desk, the blond boy came in widely yawning. He looked around with a sleepy look on his face and came to our desk. He sat down on his chair where Taehyung was sitting before and didn't even notice that his things were gone, and V got them. He laid down on the desk.
"EEEH! SUGA!" I heard V yell. He ran to us and hit the blondes head. "You grandpa'!"
"Leave, V," Suga grunted and didn't give a damn what Taehyung was doing with his things. Instead, Suga turned his head towards me. I felt my cheeks heating up as I looked into his eyes. The corners of his lips went up slightly. But his gaze never left mine.
Our tense staring was disturbed as Taehyung's face appeared in front of mine. Very close. His big smile was brightening the classroom, but I got kind of annoyed because I liked the moment that I had with Suga. If that even was his real name. I did seem kind of weird that V called him that. My guess that they just gave each other nicknames.
My mood got ruined completely when I heard a squeal coming from the front of the class. There was a group of girls swooning over some boys who just came in. I didn't see their faces. I turned back to look at V and Suga, but there was just Suga who looked like he is going to fall asleep again.
"Yoongi!!" V was now in front of the class. He was waving his hands. How did he get there? There was a grunt next to me. I wanted to ask Suga why he yelled "Yoongi" and who is that, but my question was answered when right that moment Suga got up. He walked over to Taehyung and the group of boys who came in the class.
I didn't see Suga until the end of our break, but as the lesson started, he sat down next to me and slept again.

It was already the end of the day and I was walking home slowly listening to my favourite songs in my headphones. I was moving my head a little bit with the beat of the melody. I was a bit disappointed that my brother didn't wait for me. I was a block away from my house when my earphone got ripped out of my ear. I was shocked and gasped ready to fight the stranger, but I as I turned around, I recognized a mocking smile from Suga. He laughed at me.
I clenched at my heart as I sighed in relief. I thought I was going to get mobbed by some strangers. I still didn't know the town so well, but I wasn't ready to hate this place that much.
"Sorry. I just wanted to walk with you. You didn't hear me when I called you." He smiled innocently.
I blinked a few times. "No, it's okay. I'm sorry I didn't hear you." I bowed. But Suga made me stand straight again.
"Let's go?" He asked. I nodded and we made our way down the street. "I'm going the same way."
I gave him a little smile and nodded.
We passed by many houses until I stopped at my house. I had a great time talking with him and yet I thought I would be pushed out of this society that was the school. He was easy to talk to and it made me happy.
I felt kind of sad that I was already home. But I was in a dilemma if I should ask him to come in or say goodbye for now. But again, Suga gave me an answer- he took my hand and squeezed it. It made the blood rush to my cheeks. It was weird that this guy was already trying to get close after not knowing him a full day.
"I will see you tomorrow." He said, granting me a cute smile and left where we just came.
Wait... He said he was going home, and he goes the same way we had come.
''Weird,'' I say. But still, it was cute of him to pass my time until I get home. I hope we will become friends.
Suga made my disappointment go away. He was funny, and if we were silent, he knew what to say so we never got awkward. I looked forward to meeting him tomorrow at school. And I thought to myself – maybe being here isn't that bad.
