The Hospital Life- Ereri

Chapter 1

Little reminder, this is the day Levi died in my first book.

Eren's p.o.v

I felt a hand on my shoulder. I opened my eyes and I was in the hallway by the vending machine. Hanji was in front of me.

"Oh Hanji? Sorry I must of fell asleep." I yawned. "What's up?"

"There's been a cancellation in one of the transplants tonight, if you want. We could do it now." She gave me a smile.

My eyes widened. "Really? Right now?" I asked. She nodded. "Yea em..ok.." I got up my chair and walked down the hallway with her. We went back to Levi's room and turned on the light. He was still asleep.

Hanji handed me a grown to put on. "Wait here until we come back when everything's ready." She nodded and left the room.

I then got changed into the blue grown and waited by Levi's side. "Hey Levi, guess what? We're having the operation earlier. Isn't that great?" His eyes then slowly began to open.

"What time is it..?" Was the first thing he said. I looked over at the clock on the table.

"It's almost 10:30 and we're having the operation now." I smiled and stroked his head.

"Really...?" He said weakly. "W-what if it doesn't work...?"

"Don't think about that right now ok." I leaned down and kissed him. "Everything will be fine."

I waited patiently until Hanji came back in ten minutes later. She brought a wheelchair with her. "It's time." I got up of bed and took the seat in the chair. Two more doctors came in and we're going to wheel Levi's bed through.

"Don't worry Levi!" I gasped as we got wheel down the corridor. "I'll be right here when you wake up." I smiled.

We were taken into the theatre. I was bright and there were about seven doctors. "Right Eren, lie down on the bed." Hanji told me. I got up and climbed up on the table and laid on my back.

I watched as they put down Levi's bed and removed his cover, then slide him over to a bed next to me. They then placed a mask over his month to put him to sleep. His eyes began to close.

The last thing I remember, before they put the mask over my face..we him slowly reaching out for me...

I felt like I had been sleeping for days. It was like the deepest sleep I've ever been it. My eyes began to roll open, it was hot..and it was morning. I moved my arm and grabbed the remote to move the bed. As I lowered myself to sit up, I noticed I was alone in a room. I slowly to the mask of my face and yawned. I felt so sleepy. I looked around and there was a bouquet of flowers next to me. But the only thing I was thinking about was....

Where's Levi?

Is he in his room?

Is he ok?

I sat up and swung my legs over the bed. My bare feet touched the ground slowly and I pulled myself up. I grabbed my IV stand and pushed it along with me. I opened the door and stepped into the hallway.

It was empty. No person in site. Has the apocalypse happened..? Please no.

"Oh Eren! Why are you out of bed?" I heard. I turned my head and there stood Hanji with a folder under her arm.

"I wanted to see Levi, so I was going to his room." I grunted and clinched my side.

"You shouldn't be up yet, come on back into you room and take a seat..." I made my way back in my bed and climbed back in and pulled the cover over my legs.

"My side is killing me.." I faked a laugh.

"We'll give you something for that...but there's something I need to tell you.." She sat down on a chair close to the bed. "It's about Levi..."

"Oh...is he alright?" I asked.

"During the operation, everything was going well on Levi's side...but for you..it was very much touch and go." She told me.

"So how am I fine now?"

"Once the operation was over. Levi woke up, we told him that we might lose you, and he had a fit...Then he made a decision..."

This is starting to worry me now. "Hanji...?"

"He gave you the transplant back, the good organ he had left.."

"He did what!? He needed that one to survive-" Then...I stopped. Levi would only do something stupid unless it involved me..."Hanji..?"

"Eren-"

"He's dead, isn't he?"
