The Hospital Life- Ereri

Chapter 8

Third person p.o.v

Eren was taken back to the hospital and taken to theater.  Rivaille went with him. He still hasn't woken up after he passed out in the airport- of course they missed their flight. Rivaille waited patiently. He sat hunched over in a chair in the waiting room, his leg shaked up and down impatiently. He felt irritated and uneasy. He got up from the chair and passed around the door, biting his nails.  'What the fuck is taking so long..' he muttered under his breath. Next thing the door opened and in came Hanji. 'Jesus Christ Shitty glasses what the fuck took so long?' he snapped. 

Hanji pushed up her up glasses. 'first of all, do not speak to me like that- i don't give a damn who you are, and second of all, Eren is fine, he's awake so go see him.' She tutted and her brushed her hair back. Rivaille's eyes widened and he pushed past her and ran down the hallway to Eren's room. He opened the door to see Eren lying on the bed with an oxygen mask covering his mouth. 

As Rivaille's slowly approached the bed, Eren's eyes opened and his head turned towards him. Eren removed the mask from his face. 'Levi...?' he spoke up. Then Rivaille stopped his steps. Eren had asked for Levi. Not him. 'Levi what's with the face..?' Eren asked as he sat up. 

Rivaille teased up his body and approached him. 'Eren are you fucking with me? Come on, tell me your having a laugh.' he smirked. Eren's eyes opened widely, 'Levi why are you talking like that?' He got up of the bed and stood up.

'Don't you come any closer to me, I am NOT a replacement for your dead husband.' Rivaille snapped loudly.

Eren stood there confused out of his mind. 'Levi what are you talking about?! why are you yelling at me?' he began to move closer to rivaille. Then all of a sudden Rivaille lifted his hand and back hand slapped Eren to the ground. Eren went crashing down on to the cold floor, clenching his cheek. Rivaille kneeled down and grabbed his collar with two hands and brought him to his face. 'You listen to me, you little brat, i am no a replacement for you! How dare you call me Levi, do  you know how sick that is?!?' He spat in Eren's face. 

He threw Eren back on the ground and stood up. Eren held on to himself as he came to realization. 'R-rivaille...' he spoke under his breathe. He lifted his head and looked up at him. 'oh my god Rivaille! I'm so sorry! I don't know what came over me! I completely blacked out-'

'Don't you dare make excuses for yourself! I will not be a replacement for you!" Rivaille turned around to walk out the door. 

'No please don't go! I need you!' Eren grabbed on to his arm and his hands were shoved off. 'Please don't leave me...' He cried behind his shoulder.

'Goodbye Eren.' He stormed out the room and walked away. 

Eren stood there frozen to the spot. His hand clinching his heart as tears fell from his eyes.
