When the alarm went off, Joel reared up and slammed his fist down on it. I had to laugh. Apparently he didn't like getting up this early. He snuggled back down on me and I put my arms around him.
We really had to get a place with a bigger bed. The little twin dorm bed just wasn't cutting it. Joel was currently laying on me and using my chest as a pillow and his feet were hanging off the bed. I couldn't move.
After a few minutes the alarm went off again and I tried to reach it but couldn't. When it kept going off he looked down at me and reached out without taking his eyes off mine and slammed his hand back down on it. He leaned down on his elbows and looked at me. He said, "You have to find a new time to run. The sun's not even up yet."
I snorted and said, "You've been running this early every morning for the last four months.... It won't kill you."
He pouted and said, "That was before I had you under me every night and in my bed every morning to wake up to."
I laughed and said, "Technically it's MY bed and you don't have to run if you don't want to."
He cocked his head and said, "Camden."
I said, "I meant that you could go sit on the bleachers and watch over me my Knight and let me run."
He snorted and said, "Not as good a view from there."
The alarm went off and I said, "Ok... so which is it gonna be? You running with me or watching me do it?"
He groaned and flipped the switch on the clock to turn it off and then stood up. He was naked as a jaybird and he was standing right in front of me which put his anatomy hanging right in my face.
I grinned and he said, "What?"
I said, "Ummm...."
He looked down and smirked. He put his hands on his hips and said, "Well... are we running or what?"
I laughed and popped him on the butt as I got up to get dressed. He whined, "Baby!"
I pulled my shorts on and dug my bra out from under our scrubs. He watched me as I got it on and then sighed. He started getting dressed. We walked out hand in hand and went to start our day.
********************************
My day went by pretty uneventful. We followed pretty much the same routine as we did yesterday. The only exception was we spent our free hour eating breakfast and going over notes together instead of sitting in the security office.
I met up with Tracey at our second class of the day and told her, "We talked to the realtor and he has a house we might can get into."
She said, "Really!? Sweet!" I handed her the print out on it and she said, "That's really nice."
I said, "Yeah, but there's a snag we're trying to work out. The renter doesn't usually let college students rent her properties."
She said, "Soooo...?"
I said, "The realtor is a friend of hers and is talking to her about us. He said that he can probably persuade her but she's gonna want to meet with us before she agrees."
She nodded and said, "Ok, we can do that. It's not like we're the normal college students."
I smiled and said, "I know."
The teacher called the class to attention and she handed the paper back to me. I put it back in my book bag. About halfway through the class I started feeling nauseous. Great! Like I needed this right now. I wondered if maybe I was getting an inner ear infection. I wasn't overly stressed at the moment. I actually hadn't thought about Jackson in all morning so far.
