I opened my eyes and looked directly into Joel's. I smiled and closed mine again. I felt him brush my hair back from my face and then he kissed me.

He ran his fingertips down my back and made me shiver. He caressed my butt and pressed me closer to him while his mouth worked wonders on mine.

He ran his hand down the back of my pajamas and started getting a little frisky. I pulled back and said, "Hold that thought."

When I tried to get up, he pulled me back to him and said, "Where are you going?"

I laughed and said, "I have to pee... bad. Move it."

He grinned and said, "Hurry up!"

I got up and ran into the bathroom. As soon as I saw the second test sitting there I froze. Oh yeah.... I opened the box and read the directions while I danced around. It worked basically the same way as the other one.

I sat down and peed on the stick and sat it on the counter. I was just flushing the toilet when Joel walked in. He came over to lean against the counter and we watched it together. When it was done, Joel frowned and said, "What the hell does this mean!?"

I let out a sigh and said, "I don't know." The top line was very dark... but it was the control line. The second line... was barely visible. It could be a negative or a very faint positive. Who knows!?

Joel said, "This is really frustrating."

"Well... now we wait for the blood test to come back."

He groaned and then pulled me up to put his arms around me. He started kissing me and guided us back towards the bed. When he started to pull my tank top off I pulled back and said, "Wait."

His eyebrows shot up and he said, "Why?"

I said, "Because we're going to wait until the test comes back before we have sex again."

He just started at me and then said, "Why??"

I said, "Because... I have to skip my birth control pill today because of the possibility that I am pregnant... I may have to skip tomorrows too. If I'm not pregnant, we'd be having sex without any kind of protection what so ever... unless you have a condom...."

He pursed his lips and then said, "Not any more."

I sighed and said, "Ok... then we wait."

He kissed the corner of my mouth and said, "You didn't say we couldn't make out."

I grinned and said, "No... I didn't."

My morning class dragged by. I kept sneaking a peak at my phone in hopes the lab would call. I didn't hear from them the first hour of school.

During our free hour between classes we walked down to the cafeteria and Joel got a coffee. He brought me back a tea with lemon and I frowned and said, "Where's my coffee?"

He cocked a brow and looked down at my stomach and then back to my eyes and I sighed. He shrugged and said, "Maybe you can have one in a day or two." When I just glared at him he smiled and gave me a kiss.

He walked me to my second class and Tracey met us at the door. She said, "Sooo.... any news?"

Joel smirked and kissed me before he left. I said, "No... not yet."

She said, "Well... did you at least get some...."

I shot her a look to quiet her and then said, "Yes. And they're either negative or I'm not far enough along. There was a very faint second line."
