"Joel and I were walking down by the creek on his grandparents' farm. We were holding hands and laughing. The light was soft and golden and the air was a warm breeze that fluttered our clothes. A little girl of about three ran at us with her arms raised and a squeal of delight on her face. She had soft golden hair and big blue eyes that were full of joy. When she got to us, Joel reached down and scooped her up and swung her in the air. Her laughter filled my heart with love. Joel brought her into his arms to cuddle and reached out to rest their hands on my swollen abdomen. When his eyes met mine they were full of love and longing."

I sighed and smiled as I opened my eyes. I looked straight into the blue of Joel's and saw love and longing. He smiled and reached out to caress my cheek. He said, "Good morning beautiful."

He brought his mouth to mine and it was such a gentle and tender kiss that my heart soared. He pulled back to look at me and ran his fingers up my neck and into my hair. He looked into my eyes and said, "You take my breath away," and brought his lips back down to mine.

Our lovemaking was full and sweet. It was like we were pouring our love for each other into every stroke, caress and touch. Our release was a soft sigh.

Afterwards we lay there and just cuddled. He ran his fingertips down my arm and said, "I could lay here forever with you." I smiled and he said, "But I'm starving." I let out a laugh and rose up on my elbow to look at him. He grinned and said, "Why don't you go shower and I'll make us some breakfast?"

I kissed his chest and said, "Ok." I got up to walk to the bathroom and he just lay there and watched me. I turned in the doorway and said, "Don't fall back to sleep." He grinned.

When I came out of the shower the smell of coffee and toast hit me. My stomach rumbled and I followed the scents into the kitchen. I smiled as my Hulk stood at the stove with spatula in hand scrambling eggs. He looked over and smiled and said, "Just in time."

He got down two plates and scooped eggs in each and sat the buttered toast on the corner. I got our coffee as he took the plates to the table. Once we sat down we made small talk for a little bit then discussed my mom.

He said, "You gonna call your mom?"

I sighed and said, "Yeah. I don't know whether to ask her to meet us in public for lunch or tell her we're stopping by her house."

He thought about it for a second then said, "Probably meet her at her house. I don't think this is going to be an easy conversation."

I nodded and said, "I know. That's what I'm thinking."

He said, "Do you know what you're going to say to her?"

I took a deep breath and then said, "Well... she's bound to see my ring sooo I think we'll bring that up first."

He said, "Ok."

I took a second then said, "That's going to lead into some ranting and I know she'll bring him up so we'll go from there."

He reached over and held my hand and said, "I'm sorry it has to be like this."

I linked my fingers with his and said, "It's not your fault and we'll get through this."

He grinned and tapped his finger on my hand and said, "We got this." He got up and kissed me and as he put his dishes in the sink he said, "I'm gonna go shower."

While he was in the bathroom I cleaned up the kitchen and put things away. When I was done, I got my phone out and called the house. My mom answered and said, "I didn't think I'd hear from you."
