Under the Earth

Preperations

Sam was woken up in the morning by his mother holding his hand saying,"how on earth did you get that scar." Of course he couldn't say Fang bit him because then they would get suspicious. So instead he said"I cut myself climbing a tree at school." At first Sam thought he was gonna get caught, but instead his mother said "You need to be more careful" and walked off. Sam didn't have breakfast this morning, he was too exited about digging under ground. After his parents had had their breakfast Sam grabbed his back-pack(his school bag was full of food water & resources) and left for school.

When Sam got to school he went strait to the library while staying as far away from Leif & Zack as possible. When he got there he asked the Library woman-Miss Shut Up-for a book about geography. When he got it he sat down and started reading. He needed to find out where the best places to dig were. He found out that in his area he could dig down fifty kilometres. "Good" he mumbled, so no-one would hear him. He picked himself up returned the book and went to go back to class. On his way he ran into Zack & Leif. "We know what your doing Sam" said Zack. "Why have you been avoiding us?" Sam didn't say anything, He just ignored them and went on going to class. But they still followed asking
the same question, "why are you avoiding us? Why are you avoiding us? Why are you avoiding us?" It was so annoying! But still Sam ignored. After class Sam went to go ask Mr Smith a question. "Mr Smith, can I ask you a question?" Asked Sam. "Well you can ask me a thing, boy." Replied Mr Smith. Sam was about to ask Mr Smith if a nine year old boy could survive underground but then he thought Mr Smith would get suspicious so, he asked " were do babies come from?" Instead of telling Sam were babies came from, Mr Smith said "you can ask me anything except that." So Sam left class and went home.

When Sam got home he tried not to let his parents know he was home. He slowly put down his back-pack, and quietly picked his school bag. Then sneakily left the house. He ran to the cemetery because it said in the book that if he dug at the cemetery he could go down an extra twenty kilometres. On the way he ran into Leif who was walking home
Sam quickly hid behind a thick tree before Leif could see him. As soon as Leif had past, Sam left his hiding place and ran towards the cemetery. But then, Leif turned around and saw Sam. Leif went to run after him but fortunately He was a fatso and couldn't run. When Sam got there Leif had given up and gone home. Sam got out his Pickaxe and started mining the cobblestone path. It took about a hour but eventually there was nothing but a hole full of dirt.
