As I was walking down the street with the cold hard rain poring down on me. I was thinking about everything I have been through the past few months, it was to much for me to handle. I had just lost my mom, dad, little brother and grandfather due to a really bad car accident they all died instantly, what really made me sad is that I didn't get to say goodbye to them or even say I love them one last time. When the news got to my aunt the social security asked if she would take care of me but she didn't want anything to do with me, and I just couldn't figure out why. So since everyone on my moms side of the family was not here anymore and my dads sister didn't want me I was all alone and was put in a foster home.
My foster family was horrible they hated me and they don't even care that I just lost my family, but that's not the reason I left cause that didn't much bother me the reason I left was so I wouldn't be abused and raped by my foster dad anymore. I was only there for three days before he started, and my foster mom knew what was happening and she didn't even care. At this point I didn't think living was worth it anymore and I know Nicki Minaj says to never do that because that's like giving up, but I had nothing to live for anymore, I missed my family and I just couldn't take this pain anymore.
Nicki's Pov
As Safaree and I were heading back to the hotel after my concert in Miami I saw someone walking in the poring rain.
Nicki- Safaree stop the car
Safaree- why Nic it's poring out there
Nicki- I know but someone is out there in the poring rain and it looks like the person is young and lost
Safaree- soooo...
Nicki- NIGGA pull this god damn car over NOW!
Safaree- ok ok gosh calm down
When I got out of the car I was calling for the person. It looked like it was a young girl around the age of 14 or 15, but when she finally heard me I thought she would stop she just turned back around and kept walking. I think he was crying, so I ran over to her and asked her her name.
Nicki- what's your name? Why are you out her in the rain
???- just leave me alone, I dont wanna be here anymore I just want my mom back. She said through her sobs
Nicki- well let me take you back to my hotel so I can contact your parents for you.
???- No, can't they're not even here anymore, I just don't want to be alive anymore!
Just then she pulled out a pocket knife and I was freaking out because I didn't know what to do.
I was trying to clam her down and tell her that hurting herself was not the answer but she wasn't trying to head that, but she wouldn't give me the knife so I called Safaree over to come and try to help.
Nicki- Safaree come here I need your help!!!!!!
Safaree- alright I'm coming
Before he got halfway to us the girl had just stabbed herself. I screened and Safaree came running, as he got over to us he saw the girl and automatically picked her up and jogged to the car and we rushed her to the hospital.
At the Hospital
We rushed her into the emergency room and Safaree was carrying her in his arms and when the lady at the desk looked up she spoke in a frantic voice over the intercom and seconds later nurses and doctors rushed out with stretcher and they took her back leaving us to wait in the waiting room for about 3 1/2 hours. when I saw the doctor walking towards us I practically jumped out of my chair and she introduced herself.
Dctoer- hello I'm Dr.Maddison, and Skye is going to fine, good thing you got here when you did because the knife was very close to her lung and if it got any closer if could have killed her
Nicki- thank god, thank you so much doctor, would it be possible if I could go see her?
Dr.M- no problem just doing my job and your welcome to go visit her now but she might still be sleeping
Nicki- ok thanks, what room is she in?
Dr.M- 467
When I got up to her room I saw her sleeping in the hospital bed, she looked so pale and drained of life, she had lost lots of blood. I honestly broke down right there it was so sad seeing her like that I just wished I could do something to help her. I sat there for about and hour and she still wasn't up, so I decided to run out real quick to go and get some food.
Skye's Pov
I opened my eyes and I was trying to figure out where I was but that's when I realized I was in the hospital because a nurse came in and started checking all the things I was hooked up to. 6 mins later she was done and she started asking me questions.
Nurse- hi how are you feeling? are you hungry? Ohh and my name is Leah and I'm going to be your nurse.
Skye- hi I'm Skye, an uhm I'm ok I have a really bad pain in my side and a bad headache and no I'm not that hungry, thank you.
Leah- well you do have quite a big, deep gash on your side and you lost quite a lot of blood so that's why you have a headache.
Skye- oh ok... Can I please have some water?
Leah- yes I can get that for you, I will take me a little because I am going to get you medicine for the pain.
Skye- ok thank you
When the my nurse got back I took the pills and then she helped me get up and walk over to the bathroom it hurt to walk so they said I was going to need help walking until I heal because its going to hurt my side.
I was washing my hands I heard voices in my room.
??- she's awake? how is she?
Leah- yes she's awake she has a headache because of how much blood she lost, and she has pain on her side but that's normal.
??- ok thank you
I hit the nurse button in the bathroom so she knew that I was done and so she could help me get back to my bed. When she came in I grabbed on to her arm and slowly limped to my hospital bed, once I settled in I heard the voice from earlier again and she walked in and I couldn't believe that it was Nicki Minaj. she was standing in my room
Nicki- hi honey how are you feeling?
Skye- ok thanks, how did you know I was here?
Nicki- I brought your hear after you stabbed your self.
Skye- ohh * turns head and looking away *
Nicki- Skye if you don't mind me asking what caused you to want to do this to yourself?
Skye-.......
I stared to tear up and I think Nicki saw me because she came over to me and started comforting me.
Nicki- it's ok don't cry... if you don't want to you don't have to tell me Skye.
I just sat there and cried in her arms until I fell asleep.
