(Few weeks later)
No Ones Pov
The past few weeks have been great for Nicki and Skye. they hadn't really done much just got to know each other better and built a mother daughter bond. today Nicki was taking Skye to the mall to get her the rest of her wardrobe and a new phone and some extra stuff is she wants it and maybe some stuff for herself.
Skye's Pov
So today Nicki...my mom is taking me to get the rest of my clothes I need and she said said something else but she won't tell me because she wanted it to be a surprise. she also said would get me some extra stuff that I might want. but I don't really need or want anything I'm already spoiled enough and I'm blessed to have Nicki as a mom. I mean she didn't have to stop and see of I was ok she could have kept driving but she didn't she stopped and saved my life, and got me away from those horrible people.
I was getting ready to go out with my mom, I had just gotten out of the shower and after I put some lotion on and all I was looking for something to wear. It was kinda cool outside so I put in of a pair of bleach washed skinny jeans and a plain t-shirt with my dads old hoodie he gave to me before he died. It looked really new for something that was almost 30 years old, well my dad did like to take care of his stuff. I washed my hair and I didn't feel like straitening it so I left my hair in my in my curls and just put my YMCMB Bennie on and my Jordan's on and then headed down stairs when I got down stairs my mom was sitting on the couch on her phone.
Skye- hey Ma, whatcha doin?
Nicki- on twitter *giggles* you ready?
Skye- ohh ok and ya I'm ready
Nicki- ok let's go short stuff
Skye- I think I should be calling you that hahaha
Nicki- *glares playfully* ha ha ah vey funny
No Ones Pov
Nicki and Skye just got to the mall and they were on their way to get Skye some new clothes. after they were done getting Skye all her new clothes they had about ten bags filled with clothes and shoes and they were on their way to the phone store. when they got there Skye was now confused to why they were in the store.
Skye- mom... why are we here?
Nicki- well..... this is the surprise. go pick out a phone. any one you want *smiles*
Skye- wow really *really shocked*
Nicki- yup go ahead baby girl
Skye- ok *smiles & hugs nicki* thanks mom
Skye ended up getting the new iphone 5s in white with a black and rainbow zebra print phone case with her name on the back. they left after nicki paid for for it and headed to get some food. they went to a little pizzeria in the mall. when they finished Nicki & Skye went to put the bags in the car and then Nicki wanted to get something else for Skye and herself to wear on thanksgiving

Nicki was now in line waiting with Skye to pay for their clothes. Skye had gotten a oversized knitsweater that she could wear as a dress with a tan pair of leggings to go underneath with her gray boots she got earlier. Nicki got a very nice pink and brown sparkly sweater and some jeans she got another pair of soft fuzzy heal boots. after they hpaid they left and went home. both Nicki and Skye were exhausted so they both decided to head to bed as tomorrow they had to cook for thanksgiving. before Skye went to bed she went to thank Her mom for everything she got her today.
Skye- mommy...can I come in?
Nicki- yes you may *smiles*
Skye- I just wanted to thank you for everything today I love it...everything but you didn't have to... I already have enough but I'm truly thankful to have you and everything I have *smiles*
