Skye's Pov
I was so glad I was gone from that horrible place forever, and I'm so glad that Nicki is my new mom!! the way she stood up for me at the foster house really made me trust that she wasn't going to let anyone hurt me and I was so happy that she was willing to go to the ends of the earth for me. while we were driving she stared talking to me.
Nicki- Skye, are you excited to see your new house in a couple days?
Skye- yes, I can't wait and thank you for adopting me and sticking up for me like that back there, I said while taking off me seat belt to give her a hug.
Nicki- your welcome, and a we are going to go shopping for a few outfits because your new house is in LA and our flight isn't for a couple more days. so when we get there we get there we can't get the rest if your wardrobe.Ok.
Skye- ok cool, but can we go to your hotel hotel first so I can rest a little before we go shopping?
Nicki- sure :)
Back at Nicki's hotel
Nicki- well here we are home sweet home, well for a couple more days. ok well the kitchen is over there, *pionts to her right* then right behind the kitchen there is a hallway and it is the laundry room and a bathroom. the living room is over there *points straight ahead* and the balcony is through those sliding glass doors next to the living room and this hallway over this way * points to her left* there are three rooms and each room has a bathroom in them.
Skye- ok, I'm going to go take a nap.
Nicki- ok sweet heart, I'll be out here if you need me.
Skye- ok
When I walked into one of the rooms I saw a king sized bed and I went over to it and took off my shoes and go in the bed and soon drifted to sleep but tossed and turned because I couldn't get comfortable.
Nicki's Pov
I was in the living room and I was watching judge Judy re-runs and I was kinda tired so I thought that a nap would be a good idea, so I turned off and went to my room and saw that Skye had found her way to my room.
so I climbed in the bed and I guess she knew I was there because she came and snuggled up to me and put her head on my chest and I soon started hearing little snores. I smiled to myself and wrapped my arms around her and kissed her forehead and and feel asleep not to long after.
When I woke up from my nap Skye was no longer there. I got up and walked out of the room and checked all the rooms and couldn't find Skye. I walked back into the living area and saw that the sliding glass door was cracked open, I walked over and looked out on the balcony and saw Skye sitting on one of the chairs outside.
Nicki- when did you get up from your nap?
Skye- about a half an hour ago
Nicki- why didn't you wake me up?
Skye- because you were sleeping, so I wanted to let you sleep
Nicki- aww thanks honeybun, so what are you doing out here?
Skye- just thinking
Nicki- are you gonna tell me what you were thinking about?
Skye- I don't know, thinking about my family, how the rest of my will be, my new life with you, if I will ever be able to trust a guy again, so life I guess.
Nicki- well I think the rest I your life will be great babe, just think positive, ok. and what time do you want to go shopping?
Skye- whenever
