The Fight

*New Jersey*

"This is Agent 22.. I found them" he said as he found the armies of Crossbone.

N: let's bring them here..

Agent 22: copy that

Another agent disguised as a citizen and asked them for some help.

Natasha was hiding a bit far from the crowd and ready to punch them when they come.

Agent 22: Agent Romanoff! They're close enough from you now.

Natasha didn't hear what he said. She focused her stare watching some citizens, she felt a bit down by looking their happiness at that time.

Agent 22: Agent! You copy? They're on the move! 

.... (There was no reply from Natasha) 

What's your status Agent?!

N: Hang on! [As the guys attacked her she quickly knocked them out one by one]

She could get them down. Suddenly a guy rised and threw a grenade at her as he ran off, she jumped away before it exploded.
She was coughing of it smoke. At the moment, Agent 22 approached her.
Agent 22: you okay? (he raised her up)

N: ya... Get the rest! I need to find Rumlow!

Agent 22: okay!... STRIKE, let's find them (into the radio which told the team to find the rest of Rumlow's armies)(he left Natasha)

Natasha ran to the lane when she felt someone was staring at her from there.
Nobody was there. The place was empty.
But suddenly, she heard a soft sound behind her. She realized it and ready to attack him.
She turned her back and hit him immediately. He hit her back. They both were fighting so hard. He beat her over and over again until she stopped fight him.

Black Widow was very strong but Crossbone was stronger, he wore a hardmask and his both hands were armed.
She got her tremendous pain but she wasn't give up. She raised up, trying to shoot him but he was faster. He stabbed her belly with the knife on his hands. She wriggled in pain.
R: how about that, Black Widow? (The knife still stabbed in her body)

N: you're not gonna win, Rumlow! Cap will find you! (Said her with pain as the blood running down from her belly)

Suddenly a guy attacked him. Natasha didn't know who it was because she felt dizzy and her stare was being blurry, she unconscious.
It was Steve. He was fighting Rumlow, meanwhile Sam was trying to wake her up.
Sam: Natasha! (He saw her bloody belly) this is Sam Wilson, Black Widow is down, she's unresponsive. I need EMTs. (into Natasha's radio)

Steve managed to finally knocked Rumlow down by smashing him.
Steve came to her, looking at her closed eyes and regretted. He raised her body up.

The STRIKE team had arrived and they handcuff Rumlow immediately.

*Hospital, NYC*

Natasha opened her eyes softly. She saw Steve sat next to him with his eyes closed. He was sleeping.
She was trying to get up until she felt the pain on her belly.
"Ouch.."

Steve awake as he heard Natasha's voice.
S: Natasha.. Be careful.. (as he helped her got up)

N: where's Rumlow?

S: don't worry.. We got him (he smiled)

N: I'm such a loser (as she leaned her head to the pillow behind her)

S: psstt.... (He shook his head) you're absolutely not

N: Steve... (She looked at his ocean blue eyes) I owe you for a thousand time..

S: it's okay, Nat. I supposed to be there but I was not, I'm sorry..

Natasha smiled. She was looking at his face.
N: After all of this, would you still trust me?

S: I will always trust you..

Natasha couldn't take her eyes off of his eyes. Her heart was beating fast. Didn't know what she felt inside.
She was trying to get that feeling out but she couldn't.
She was.... falling in love with him. She didn't want it but she just couldn't avoid that he was the one who always protected and saved her.
They did a dozen of mission and there were no one where Steve didn't protect her.
But she was feeling not good enough for him, he deserved better.. He deserved Sharon.... She couldn't do anything except hide her feeling.

N: I want to go home..

S: but you haven't got well enough

N: I'm okay..

S: Natasha... (Begged her to stay)

N: seriously.. I'm okay Steve.. (She tried to stand up) ouchh...

S: be careful! (He helped her)

N: see? I'm not that weak, Rogers (as she stood up)

He smirked. Her body was still weak but still strong as usual. He saw a very beautiful creature in front of him. He was looking at Natasha, he realized there were a few bruise on her pretty face. He felt so sorry for her.
Suddenly, he felt something different, he remembered all the memories they had and deep in his heart, he adored her, she was a very strong, brave, kind, smart and beautiful woman.
He was feeling the same as hers... He felt like he was in love with her but he couldn't say that.

N: Steve? Why are you looking at me like that?

S: ough.. No.. I'm just... (He felt embarassed)

Natasha was just smilling at him, waiting for his answer.
N: let's just get out of here..

S: what?! But you still..

N: Steve..

S: uhh.. Okay.. But you sure wanna go with that?

Natasha was just realize that she wore a hospital suit. She looked ridiculous.

S: I'll tell Sam to bring your clothes (He smiled)

Natasha went to the restroom to change her clothes. She wore a black suit, her favorite.
Natasha looked so beautiful eventho her face was still pale. They went out from the hospital and went to the Head Quarter.
