"I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die...." I chanted to myself.
If anyone were to walk in right now, they would think I was a freak. A loud laugh broke me from my thoughts. Ohmygosh, he was going to kill me and the spider was going to eat my guts.
"Someone's in my house!" I screamed again. The intruder laughed louder and came closer. A few tears had escaped my eyes as I shook from fear.
"Milly," a familiar voice whispered. His hand touched my back and then I pulled away to look at them.
"Dude why scare me like that?" I whispered to Jace.
"Well, I saw you come out from the bathroom and I wanted to scare you, but after seeing that scene... I don't think seeing you scared is very funny."
"Ofcourse its not funny I could've died!" I swore to him. He let out a low chuckle and walked over to me.
"C'mon, baby. The spider is gone," Jace held out his large hand for me.
"Yes, he is gone, but not dead," I pointed out staying in my position clinging to my pole. In response, Jace only sighed and looked all around to kill the spider.
I smiled in content, watching as he smashed the spider. "Better?" he smiled. I untangled my legs from my post and set my feet firmly on the ground. "So, what should we do?"
"Ummm..., we could watch a movie?" I suggested.
"Nah, I watched movies all last weekend, lets do something else." He yawned flopping himself on my bed.
"I'm not very creative, you should choose." I said sitting in my rollerchair.
"Truth or dare," he said staring at the ceiling.
"That game is ratchet." I retorted spinning.
"Wii?"
"Don't have one."
"Cooking show."
"I don't want to clean the kitchen afterwards."
"Twister."
I looked up at him and smiled, "brilliant."
That's how we ended up staying up past 2 in the morning. Last night was how I learned that Jace is a very sore loser. He claimed that since I took gymnastics when I was younger I was cheating. To which I replied 'you're just jealous because you have balls.'
Jace is kinda adorable when he gets frustrated. His nose crinkles and he sticks his bottom lip out. It is seriously the cutest thing ever.
My mom and dad came home around 5 and told me I could stay home today. I was so thankful that I could sleep all day. After last night, I was practically dead. My parents only came home to change so I was alone for the whole day. The days I could handle, nights not so much.
Around noon, after I had brushed my birds nest and washed my face, there was a knock on my window. Startled, I turned and saw a smirking Jace in his pjs, hanging from a tree branch. I crossed my arms and walked over to the window to let him in.
"What's up?" he asked climbing in.
"I was actually going to get ready for the day," I said sitting on my bed, only then did I realize that I'm not wearing make-up in front of him.
"Wait don't look at me!" I said running into my bathroom. Jace just gave me a confusing look and walked after me into my bathroom.
"Why?" he asked hopping himself on my sink.
"I'm not wearing any make-up and I look terrible," I said reaching for my case that I kept under my sink.
"Oh please, you look fine. Who's going to see you anyway?" he scoffed and took my case from me.
