"What are we going to do for three months?" Nikki asked.
"Well, I think i have an idea," I said. I have a pretty good idea. I looked up and grinned at the group. My idea is a little crazy. Their expressions were blank, waiting for me to tell.
"Please elaborate," Jesse urged me impatiently.
"Roadtrip?"
"A Roadtrip?" Liam asked, surprised. I looked around, worried. Was it a bad idea after all?
"Yeah, I've always wanted to go on a roadtrip," I replied.
"I'll go," Zach said, smiling an adorable smile. "It should be fun."
"Roadtrips are cool, I'm in." Harry said, nodding.
"Yeah, I am too," Niall agreed. What supportive best friends those three are. Aw. Following their lead, everyone else agreed to the trip.
"We'd have to leave really soon though, roadtrips take a long time." Jesse warned.
"Three days should be good for everyone." Jeremy concluded. "Tomorrow just to prepare or do whatever, and then the next day to pack some stuff, and on the third day someone could go get a van and meet us somewhere."
"Well aren't you just Mr. prepared," I said, giving him a weird look. He laughed and shrugged. "Sounds good though."

"Hey," Zach said, walking towards me and sitting next to me at the table.
"Hey, you," I smiled.
"What are you doing tomorrow? Since we have one last day in California to do anything before we leave."
"Um... I actually havn't thought about it," And i havn't. What am I going to do tomorrow? What do you do the day before you go on a roadtrip? He laughed at my response, probably because of how serious it had been and because I'd missed the point.
"Wanna hang out?"
"Yeah, obviously I'm free," I laughed.
"What do you want to do?"
"Well. I believe you promised to take me somewhere," I reminded him. his expression went from confusion to deep-in-thought to i-have-no-clue-what-you're-talking-about, back to deep in thought, and then to that face you get when you're thinking 'oh!'
"Awesome, i'll text you." He said. I rolled my eyes at him before responding.
"Okay."
"Okay."
"Good."
"Good."
"Great."
"See ya," He smiled before turning to leave.
"Bye," I grinned like an idiot as he walked away and looked around to see if anyone else had witnessed our moment. I probably shouldn't have been so happy about it, i'm not really sure why I was. Zach and I have hung out before; we're best friends, it's not out of the ordinary. What's unordinary is me getting butterflies. Over anyone. Chill, Quinn. It's just like when I hang out with Harry, Mikey, Niall or any of the other boys. Zach's only a friend. I need to work on my self convincing skills, though.
I looked up to see who was still there. Nikki, Dylan, Jesse, Katie, Harry, Niall, and Jeremy who was sitting on the other side of the room with Liam, isolated. They were staring at me, which was slightly creepy and awkward, but not really because Liam looked a little disappointed about something. Or sad. Hard to tell, he turned his head so fast I think he might've gotten whiplash.
"What's wrong, Payner?" I asked, getting up to go sit beside them.
"Nothing, I'm great." He smiled weakly. I could tell that was complete bull. He wasn't a very good liar.
"Come on, Liam, I know-"
"Dude, he's fine," Jeremy cut in quickly but calmly.
"Okay," I say. I knew they didn't want to tell me, and I didn't want to pry, so i dropped it.
>>---------------> <---------------<<
I decided to start putting these things on the end bc hey why not?
Anywho
Where do you think Zach is taking her? And what do you think is wrong with Liam? Anyway. I'm going to update again soon. I'll see you later my hoodlums. and directioners. Later dudes (90s skater slang)
