Part Four

"So tell me more about you" Grayson smiled as he sat on the bench
"Well I love photography, videography and editing photos and videos and all that. I'm from a small family of two. I live out here with my mum, I don't know my dad, my younger sister has a different dad than me so she loves back in New Zealand" I sit beside Grayson
"Well what made you want to move out here" he turned to face me as he began to become more interested in the conversation
"I moved here because I wanted a fresh start. away from the crazy cheating and abuse ex. I wanted a fresh start at a new school where no one knew my past. I wanted a fresh start for myself. And then mum wanted to come along to support." I smiled a little
"Was it hard to convince your mum to move out here?" Grayson smiled
"Yeah. It was. She left her parents. Her brother and sister both moved out of the city and we hardly ever saw them and mum didn't really want to leave her parents but she realised that I wanted something more out of photography and videography and to expand my social media aspect too" I smiled
"I'm glad to hear your mum was willing to leave behind that for you" Grayson smiled
"I don't know. I mean she had another daughter that she seemed to love a lot more than me." I sighed
"Aw love. She must care about you a lot if she came 13 hours across the world to live with you so you can carry out your dream" Grayson smiled
"Yeah true. I just wanted to leave there as soon as possible. Things got too hard with my ex." I sighed
"What do you mean?" Grayson smirked a little bit
"He just. Idk. He was always cheating on me or he was abusive towards me. He knew where I lived and he would threaten to hurt me and all that. I just. I had to move." I sighed
"No one, no one should go through that. Especially a girl like you with so much ambition" Grayson smiled
"Thank you. I just wanted something for my life. You know?" I looked at Grayson
"Yeah I do know. My life isn't the easiest either. My parents still live in New Jersey, my brother finds it a lot more easier to fit in than I do, hence why I only have a few friends" Grayson looks at me
"Yeah I understand that. I only have a few too. And they're probably gonna be the only friends I make when I'm here" I sighed
"Who are they? I might know them!" Grayson smiled
"Julie, Taylor and Kristen" I smiled
"Oh yeah! I know them! Julie is dating Alex, Taylor is with Jack and Kristen is with Aaron" Grayson smiled
"Oh really? Well they never said that?. I actually facetimed Julie earlier to talk to her about Cameron and how touchy feely he is and she knew exactly who I was talking about and I didn't really mention names so I guess that makes sense now." I shrugged
"You okay, Britt?" Grayson looks at me
"Yeah. I will be. I just need a minute to myself" I nodded and skated over to the car park.
"Okay well I have to go, I have school tomorrow" Grayson smiled kissing my cheek
"But wait Aaron said you don't go to school?" I looked at Grayson
"Bye love" he smiled and skated off

Well, that was weird..

I grab out my phone and call the girls on ooVoo.
"Hey" Taylor says
"Aye" Kristen says
"Yo" Julie says
They all say at once
"Hi." I say back in return.
"You okay Britt?" Kristen says
"Yeah are you? Did anything happen with Grayson!?" Julie adds in
"Yeah spill Britt!" Taylor smiles
"When we're y'all gonna tell me you all knew who they were?" I looked at my phone
"We were going to but since you were so close with Aaron I didn't want to freak you out by saying that I'm with Aaron since y'all are so close" Kristen says
"Yeah same here with me and Alex. I didn't want to say anything Britt because we knew that they were you only other friends other than us and we all wanted you to fit in as much as possible" Julie says
"I didn't say anything about Jack because you didn't know him" Taylor says
"Well. For the record. Grayson and I did talk. He kissed my cheek. But then he said he has school tomorrow but Aaron told me he doesn't go to school?" I looked at the girls all confused through ooVoo
"Yeah good point" Julie says
"Well he does want to be a teacher" Kristen says "I means that what Aaron has told me anyways. So maybe that's what he means?" Kristen adds
I shrugged "I don't know. I have to go. I need to head home to mum. I'll see y'all tomorrow"
