Erida set her alarm for 7:30 the next morning so she could get to work early.

The alarm went off and Erida awoke from her peaceful slumber grumbling and went down stairs for a somewhat substantial breakfast.
After one slice of toast, a small bowl of fruit and glass of juice, Erida trudged back to her bedroom and picked out an outfit. Manny never said anything about a dress code so before Erida got changed, she texted Ashton and asked. "Not really. Just be covered up 😂" was his reply. Erida looked over her choice of clothes. A charcoal coloured singlet, red checked flannel, denim bootleg jeans and mauve coloured converse. After deeming it appropriate, she peeled off her pajamas and changed. She felt no need to wear make up (she never wore any anyway) and left the house.

Erida stood behind the counter at "Manny's Music Supplies" and waited patiently for customers. Ashton popped his head around the corner and chuckled upon noticing how bored she was. "Is it always this quiet?" Erida asked, placing her elbows on the counter and rested her chin on her palms. "No." Ashton said, now standing at the counter in front of Erida. "Jesus. I hope I'm getting paid, my legs are killing me." Erida replied to which Ashton chuckled. "You are, don't worry." "I bloody hope so."

After 5 minutes of general chit chat, Ashton asked Erida "You remember how you said you sang?" "No. No no no I see where this us going." Erida abruptly stood up straight and backed into the wall behind her shaking her head. "C'mon just a verse?" Ashton pleaded. Erida stood still for a moment. "Fine." Ashton grinned. "Last night was crazy and today its setting in. Did you really mean it and could you say it again" Erida started. As the song went on, Manny walked out if his office and stood in the doorway to listen. One verse turned into the whole song and Erida had no idea she had two people now listening. As the last note left her lips, she started as two pairs of hands clapped. She turned to see Manny with his phone out. "I hope you're not recording" said Erida nervously. "I was" replied Manny mischievously. Erida glared at him but the tinkling bell sounded and saved him from the fate that would've met him if Erida had been able to harm him.
