Erida went to bed that night feeling jittery and excited and woke up feeling like it was just a dream. "Was I dreaming yesterday?" She texted Ashton when she finally rolled over. "Depends. What do you think happened?" Came his reply 2 seconds later. "I adopted a family of ducks." "Then yes. It was a dream. Although if you had of said 'Demi Lovato wants me as her opening act for her tour' I would've said no it was not a dream".

At work, Erida was stacking CDs and vinyls. Ashton watched from afar as her hands flipped through categories, her teeth biting the corner of her lip and her eyebrows drawn in to meet as a frown as she placed CD after CD in their correct places. He watched as she smiled warmly at the smell of the Vinyls and her eyes widen in pleasant surprise when she found a certain one. "You really like her, don't you, kiddo?" Came a soft, fatherly voice. Ashton started and looked beside him to see Manny. Ashton turned back to watch Erida. "I don't know if I should though. I've only known her a week or so" Manny smiled. "If it's meant to be, it will be." Ashton turned back to look at Erida who was now smiling softly at him. He grinned back and Manny chuckled, clapped Ashton on the back and left.

"Ashyyy" Erida whined to Ashton. He groaned at his nickname. "Whaaaaaat" he mimicked. "You know have you love me?" "Debatable but yes." "Can you come over to my place?" She asked, hopefully. "Only if your cooking dinner?" He reasoned. "Done." They both laughed. "What will you be wanting?" She asked, impersonating a posh brit. "Spaghetti bolognese" Ashton screamed like a child on Christmas, earning a few contemptuous looks from customers. Eridas shoulders shook with suppressed laughter and Ashton bit his lip, grinning as he too tried to hold down a chuckle. A small ting from Eridas phone broke up the twos silent giggles and she reached into her back pocket for her phone. "Lunch break" Erida announced, grinning. "Shove off! I've got another 30 minutes before mine!" Ashton playfully shoved her shoulder. "I'll bring you back something if you want?" Erida offered. "This is why I love you. Are you stopping at McDonald's or are you going to one of your weird healthy places?" "I was going to go to Subway but I'll stop at Maccas instead." Erida rolled her eyes, smiling. "I'll have a frozen Coke and a Big Mac with medium fries" Ashton reeled off. "Anything else? It seems a little too healthy" Erida said sarcastically. "And something for the lady" Ashton giggled. "Your giggles adorable" "like you" "Fuck off" Erida grumbled, turning around and leaving.
