Connor had gotten some snacks for us to enjoy and we sat down and watched the documentary. The documentary was fascinating really but I just couldn't focus. The fact that Connor was sitting just 3 inches away from me sucked up all of my attention. I felt jittery and on-edge, but I enjoyed it still.
'This just makes me wanna take so much more fashion risks' I grinned with my mouth full of popcorn. Connor laughed and crossed his arms,
'Are my flannels not good enough for you then?' he asked with a challenging look on his face. I rolled my eyes,
'No, I won't give you the satisfaction of saying your style is on point.' I said while shaking my head, a playful glare in my eyes. Connor snorted,
'It is though, I know it is' he said softly with his eyebrows raised and a playful smirk on his face. He then focused on the screen in front of us again. I couldn't focus anymore, I just wanted to lay in his arms, cuddle and kiss. Things you do when you're in love.
I looked at him and I just felt my heart beating faster. He was fascinated by the documentary and therefore I could shamelessly stare at him for the rest of the documentary. Not that I did though, like, no that's creepy. But I could if I wanted.
I just adored him, as a whole human being. He overflowed with different kinds of passions and creaitivity. I felt some sort of admiration for that too.
The sun had gone down in the meantime, which made his eyes seem brighter and my feelings stronger. I liked to think he was thinking the same, and when the documentary ended our shoulders were touching. Connor looked over at me and our eyes met,
'You want some beer?' he asked as the credits appeared on the screen. I nodded,
'Yeah sure.'
Connor got up and walked to the fridge. He got two beers in his hands, however, he didn't walk back to me.
'Come Lost Boy, I want to show you something' he said. I frowned but did as I was told and I followed him to the guest room. I was weirded out because of all the mixed signals I was getting. Connor shoved the two beers in my hands as we stood by the window.
He opened the window, put his foot on the window sill and pulled himself up. He turned around, his face now facing me. He stood with both feet on the window sill, his body half inside, half outside. It wasn't a big window so I couldn't exactly see what he was doing, but then suddenly he pulled himself up, his shirt lifted a bit so I could see a bit of his abs and then he was out of my sight.
I frowned as I walked to the window and looked up, there I saw Connor's head staring at me from the roof. I sniggered and shook my head lightly, he really was full of surprises.
'Hand me the beers first and then I'll pull you up' he said and I put my foot on the windowsill, the way Connor had done so smoothly just seconds before. I turned around and pulled myself up so I stood with two feet on the windowsill. Then, I proceeded to hand Connor the beers. He stretched his hand out to me and I grabbed it, a tingly feeling exploding in my stomach as our hands intertwined. I didn't want it to end.
He pulled me up and I crawled onto the roof and sat down next to him. He handed me my beer and he took a sip of his own. He gestured at the view, which consisted of mostly a dark night-sky and some trees. Some city lights were to be spotted in the distance.
'So this is what I do a lot, moongazing' he stated as he pointed at the moon. It was a very clear night, however, you couldn't see many stars because of the fact that LA is a city, a busy city with lots of lights. It's never completely dark.
