I opened my cabin door and stepped into the enfolding darkness of my room. The door slammed shut behind me as I searched around for the light switch.
I heard a movement somewhere further in the house and I immediately went into a defensive stance, abandoning my search. My ears perked up in alert, listening through the eery silence, as my eyes pierced through the darkness, searching for something, anything. I made out a sketch of movement to my near right. I counted to three and dived head on towards the figure, trapping it firmly to the ground with my body.
The light switched on, followed by cheers and applause, breaking my focus. I glanced around to see a cabin full of my coworkers throwing 'I Miss Yous' and 'Get Well Soons' at me. I rolled my eyes because they all know that I'll be popping up at work tomorrow. Nothing's ever stopped me before, and nothing will stop me now. Plus, how will those idiots function?! They're nothing without me.
I rolled my eyes AGAIN, and join in on the little 'celebration' they have going on, chatting and laughing, with nothing else on my mind.

I turned in to bed a little past midnight, setting my alarm clock for 3AM so that I can train before work at 7. What? How do you think I maintain being the best on this planet!!I rummaged through the top drawer of the bedside table, feeling around for my wrist watch which alerts me of emergencies around. My fingers search through the drawer, coming back to square on empty.
I stretch over and turn on the light from the bedside lamp, and return to rummaging through the drawer, digging through for my watch. I wiped the back of hand across my forehead, and stared blankly in front of me wondering where the watch could be. That watch has always alerted me of the crimes in and around the planet so that I could be able to attend to most of the crime scenes in time.
Seeing that sitting and wondering where it is won't help, I get up and walk towards the main switch, turning it on and bathing the bedroom in a shower of light.
I scan over the few pieces of furniture, working in my mind, the possibility of my watch being in any of them, evading my mind. I turn to go into the hall and stop dead tracks at the turmoil that my room is now in. Containers are scattered all over the room and food plastered on the ceiling stand as mere evidence of the night's earlier going ons. This is why I hate parties. The cleaning is left all to me and I've never freaking kept one. I angrily kicked a bottle out of my way, stepping into the maze created by my coworkers. Yup. It's possible for my watch to be under all this mess.
As I stand there looking over the mess, wondering and pondering where to start, I heard something shift and I look up to see a devilishly handsome pale purple stranger in front of me with my watch hanging from his fingers.
"Looking for this?" he enquired, tauntingly cocky.
