Chitanda's Perspective
"So, won't you introduce her Houtarou?"
I was dragged here at the rooftop by Houtarou-kun and his friend, when we reached the rooftop, a cute short haired girl with sparkling pink orbs welcomed us in a... i don't know... scary way? But something tells me she already knows me. But that's not possible is it? I just met her today.
"Ah! Konnichiwa. Chitanda Eru desu. Nice to meet you." I bowed, showing respect. We looked at each other not for long before she finally spoke up.
"Chii... Chii-chan! Yoroshiku neh Chii-chan!! My name's Mayaka Ibara!" She exclaimed before engulfing me into a hug rubbing our cheeks together. I really thought she was gonna hate me for some reason but you'll never know a person if you never talk to them.
"Neh~ Let's have lunch shall we?" Satoshi-kun called out as he sat on the cloth. It looks like we're having a lunch picnic.
"So Chii-chan, you're a classmate of Houtarou, right?" Mayaka-san asked.
"Hai. I just transferred." I answered.
"Really? Then i'm glad Houtarou brought you here! That way i won't be the only girl." She said in a very happy tone making me smile. She's not that bad after all.
"So Chitanda-san, what club are you joining?" Fukube-san asked joining the conversation.
"Eh? Well... uh, i'm not sure yet." I answered looking down.
"Well that's alright, there's still time to decide. Besides, Houtarou hasn't chosen yet! Right Houtarou?" Mayaka-san said then turned to Houtarou-kun with one brow raised. Houtarou-kun just shrugged and ignored her.
"Well, i know he'll decide soon. Just so you know, Mayaka is in the Manga Club, i'm in the Sewing Club." Fukube-san said with a smile.
"Sewing Club huh? Sugoii" I muttered.
"I also volunteer at the Library" Mayaka-san informs. I nodded taking in all the information.
"Well then, shall we start eating?" Fukube-san announced.
"Ah! If everyone would like to try this, it'd really make me happy" I said happily, taking out 6 boxes of bento with different variety of food.
"Woah." They all said when i opened each.
"You cooked this all Chii-chan?" Mayaka-san asked.
"Wow! Am i lucky or what?! Great thing you saved someone with great cooking skills Houtarou!" Fukube-san gushed.
"Hai! Douzo!" I said, placing the food in the middle.
"Itadakimasu!!"
I thought the sudden transfer was a trouble, but it's not that bad after all. I made new great friends and i'm glad i met them. I hope this school year would blossom more!
