I'm stunned to say the least, that the vampire girl was practically laughing at us as we have them encircled. It was as if she knew something we didn't and I didn't like it.
Annabeth surprised me by telling everyone to back off and Clarisse didn't look too happy about that.
"So instead of fighting this out and people getting hurt and possibly killed," Annabeth glared at Clarisse. "How about you three come with us to camp, and we figure out who you are and you figure out who we are. Okay?"
Her answer come from the red-head as she gave only a single and curt nod of her head.
Annabeth turned and lead the way through the woods, as the shadow vampire, stone sword boy and his sister followed us to camp.
