I get out of the car and catch up to Delia, who is already sitting under our favorite tree. It's a big old tree, the leaves bright green.
I sit down next to her.
"I missed this." I signed.
"Yes, this week felt like years." She smiled.
"Oh, shut up." I say with a smile.
She rests her head on my shoulder.
A few minutes go by and she lifts her head getting a blue lidded container out of her brown bag. She handed me the container.
"Open it."
I smiled at her and lifted the lid. Inside were more then fifty blueberries.
I looked at her with confusion plastered across my face. Delia picked a small blueberry and popped it in her mouth.
"We're in blueberry park we've never actually eaten blueberries here." She says.
I smiled at her and hugged her.
"This is awesome! Thank you."
After we finished the blueberries Delia closed the container and put it back in her bag.
