Phoenix POV - First Person

"Lets go lets go!" I heard as I was shaken awake by one of my best friends, Skylar. I looked at the clock next to me and deducted that it was about an hour till Midnight. "Come on come on come on! It's Friday! We have Quidditch tonight!" She exclaimed dragging me out of bed. I stumbled over to my closet and threw on my green shirt, black skinny jeans, and a silver loop scarf. I looked over and saw both Sky and my other friend, Scarlet, dressed and waiting for me.

"Well? What are we waiting for!" I exclaimed, rushing past them and down the stairs. The two of them following me to the common room. The lake looked as beautiful as always, the merpeople sleeping, the giant squid floating carelessly, the fish all hidden away. Blake and Jemma were waiting for us down in the common room. Now let me tell you about my friends, Skylar was really pretty. She had chest length, straight, pitch black hair, and sky blue eyes (hint the name) she was normally calm, but if she gets mad, the best thing to do is run. Scarlet has shoulder length, curly, light brown hair, and brown eyes with small flecks of red in them (for whatever reason), both of them have been my roommates since first year. Blake and Jemma were the house Perfects. Jemma had bright red hair, and kind brown eyes, and Blake had auburn hair and grey eyes that seemed to glow silver in the moonlight, the two of them were dating.

"All right Snakes! You know the drill! Silent as a snake, sneaking up on a mouse!" Blake called out to the group of 2-7 years gathered in the common room. I guess I really should explain what's happening. Apparently, the year after the Battle of Hogwarts, when all of the seventh years from the year before came back to finish that year, the houses made a truce, they still pretended to hate each other (the first years had no idea that the hate was fake) in the halls, but every Friday at midnight, we would get together on the Quidditch pitch, and have our own tournaments. Griffin team would team up with the Ravens, and us Snakes would team up with the Baggers. Whoever won the game, would be the champions. We would go to their common room (teams alternate per win), where the House Elves will have set up a feast of junk food, and have a brilliant sleepover. Funniest thing is, the teachers still don't know about it. It was our thing, and I highly doubt they would be able to stop it anyway. The portraits help us sneak out by telling us if there's any teachers (or cats) coming.

We silently walked down to the doors and slipped out and to the Quidditch pitch, where the teams grabbed their brooms. Sky, Scar, and I prepared ourselves with the Bagger Chasers, Ellie, Cassie, and Teddy. The four Beaters, the Snake ones named Jem and Will, the Bagger ones named Jace and Alec. The two keepers, Magnus for us, Ragnor for the Baggers, and the two Seekers, Tessa , for us, and Clary for the Baggers. When signaled, we walked out of the dressing room and up to the pitch. At the next signal we pushed off and the game was started. The six of us threw the Quaffle around and managed to score around 170 points, the other team scoring around 160. Finally, someone called the end of the game. We had won, 320-170. As we all landed we were swarmed with the our houses inhibiters. Finally Hagrid, our official score keeper, came in front of us.

"Wonderful game! I believe this time the party will be in the Slytherin dorms! We all must be as silent as a slithering snake if we wish to get past Flitch and McGonagall. Let's get going!" And with that we all silently walked down to our dorms, where the house elves also pulled out several large mattresses, a few thousand blankets, and even more pillows. We failed to notice that in one of the lower windows, were our head of houses. McGonagall and Longbottom cheering, and Slughorn and Flitwick hanging their heads. They then all walked back and into the kitchen, grabbing some drinks and food, they walked back to their dorms.
