Follow, vote and comment! Thanks for reading, happy Sunday is update day! Enjoy the chapter, comment your opinions (if you have any complaints voice them nicely thanks :)) ENJOY!!!"Lise! You look amazing!" Klara smiled, as she ran up and hugged her best friend. They were finally at school, the first day seeing the whole gang (those who didn't graduate) in nearly three months.
"Thanks! You look adorable, Klar! I love that dress!" Elise complimented. Klara was wearing a simple light pink sundress with some ballet flats. She was never one for complicated outfits and often gravitated towards dresses and rompers.
"You're wearing something besides black for the first time in like three years! You look great! You look like you have some color and I can actually see your face!" Klara marvelled. Elise had worn the outfit her Mother picked out and put her hair up in a high ponytail. She usually curled her hair and left it down, but today she decided that if she was going to wear something so different, might as well go all the way.
"I really like this color. I guess I just thought why the hell not?" Elise laughed "I don't know why I wasted so much time wearing black! It made me look so...dead"
Klara wagged her eyebrows "It's because Ricky-the-badass-Saltzman is into chicks that wear black and look all depressed all the time. It's good that you're dressing for you and not some douche" Klara had never really liked Ricky all too much. They got along, but she just wasn't his biggest fan. She thought he was immature, reckless, stupid and a slacker. Granted, all of which he was, she just happened to be annoyed by it more than the others.
"Ellie! You look great!" Greyson approached the girls sporting a nice tan, some khakis and a light blue polo. Elise thought he looked quite nice as well.
"You look amazing, Grey!" Elise commented "such an amazing tan! Zimbabwe did you well, huh?"
He nodded, smiling widely "I met the cutest little girl! Such a cute kid"
Elise thought it was nice of Greyson to volunteer to go to Africa with his Mother over the summer. Of course, Ricky went with his Mom too, but everyone knew he only went because he wanted to get away from town for the summer.
"El, hey" Ricky smiled, slinging his bag over his shoulder. He, of course, was sporting typical badass wear. A leather jacket, a white t shirt, some boots and jeans with a rip in the knee. He looked the definition of 'tough'.
"Hi, Ricky" Elise smiled nicely. She always tried not to act like so much of a child around Ricky. He was a senior this year like Klara; he didn't need to see Elise as younger than she already was.
"You look nice" he complimented, and she swore she felt her whole world flip. He'd never complimented her, ever. He didn't really compliment much of anyone, just walked around school like he was too cool to be there.
"Thanks" Elise managed to choke out, before hearing Greyson clear his throat.
"I think it's time for class. What do you have first?" Greyson asked, interrupting the conversation between Ricky and Elise.
"Um English with Mr. Walker-hey, where's Lawson?" Elise asked, looking around for their redheaded companion, who seemed to be nowhere in sight.
"UGH" Klara sighed "he faked sick so he could stay home. Some guy from soccer camp crushed his wittle heart and now he's in one of those funks he always seems to get into"
Elise elbowed Klara lightly. "He is a delicate little flower, Klara. Be nice"
Laughing, Klara picked up her tote bag and headed off for whatever class she had first.
"See you later on, bitch"
"Whatever, whore"
Elise smiled at the use of their ever-present banter. Yup, she loved Klara like she was her own sister.

Elise wandered into Mr. Walker's first period Junior English class about two minutes late. She had to find her locker, and then was pissed to realize she forgot the combo. After figuring out a quick way to open It (a beginners spell her Mom taught her a few years back), she was on her way to English, two minutes and forty seconds late.
"You're late" Mr. Walker stated the obvious as Elise took her seat next to Kate Lockwood. She'd never had Mr. Walker before; he only taught Juniors and Seniors. Both her brothers and all of her cousins had him though, and apparently they didn't give him a good impression of the family.
"Um yeah?" Elise said, in a duh tone. She knew it was kind of sassy and mouthy, but come on. This guy was standing there stating the obvious like he was Jesus or something.
He sighed and ran a hand down his face. "You're one of the Salvatore's, aren't you?"
Elise nodded "Elise Salvatore, sir. You had my brothers Lucas and Mason"
He grimaced, as if the mere memory of her brothers brought him physical pain. "Please tell me you're the last one. I swear the only sane family member you had was your cousin Elizabeth"
Elise smirked "My cousin Lawson is a sophomore this year. Hate to break your bald spot, but I'm not the last one"
Shooting her a look, but deciding her sass was not worth the fight, Mr. Walker pulled out a notebook and jotted something down while mumbling 'This is the sixth Salvatore. Is there no mercy?'
Elise smiled to herself, wondering how long it would take this guy to fall off the wagon altogether. From what her brothers said, he was one breakdown away from crazy, and she wanted to be the student to go down in history as the girl who broke Mr. Hard-ass Walker.
