Naomi's POV
Today I told my mom and dad about Justin. Its been two days. My father was livid and was so ready to kill him. Turns out they sent him to a boarding school and his mom said that I could press charges and that Justin would have to pay them.
My mom was just hurt that someone was putting there hands on me, I could tell she was holding in the crazy though.
"Sweetie, why didn't you just tell us?" My mother asked taking ahold of my hand. Daniel sat on my right and my father was in front of me. I asked Daniel to come with me because I was scared.
"Mom, you amd dad started working more and more and I didn't think I could tell you. I was scared about you guys reaction." I told them truthfully.
"Well we're pressing charges, and you don't have to be afraid to tell us anything. I'm sorry you felt like we weren't there baby. And Daniel thank you so much for opening up your home to my little Nae-Bear." My dad said. The last piece to Daniel of course.
"Yes sir, anytime. Naomi is a great young lady and she described respect and someone to lean on." Daniel complimented making me blush and shook my dad's hand.
"Thank you son, very respectable and very intelligent. I like you boy." My dad shook his hand back and let out a small chuckle.
My mom held my hand tighter before realising the pressure. She was gonna have the girl talk with me. I could tell she liked Daniel and she knew I liked Daniel and was gonna tease me for a while.
"Well, what if we took a week off of work and spent time with you and the Simmons family? They seem like great people." My mom asked my father and I more so than Daniel.
"I'm sure they would love that. They've been wanting to meet you guys too. This is perfect. Just let me know when. " We all nodded in agreement.
"Do we have to go to the school or meet with someone?" My father asked taking a seat across from my mother, Daniel, and I on the love brown love seat.
"Maybe Principal Philips and Justin's parents but that's about it. " Daniel informed.
"Ok, well I'll find out and if you guys do then I'll shoot a text. And I'm sorry you guys didn't know what was happening when it first started. I was so scared and so hurt and I felt like you guys would hate me because of it. So I put on an act and you guys believed that I was fine. I just didn't want you worried about me." I confessed.
My dad stood up to hug me as did my mom. "Nae-Bear we would never hate or disown you, you're our daughter and we love you no matter what. And yes I'm ready to kill this boy but I have a family to take care of and I won't go to jail over some kid. But if he ever goes as far as laying a finger on you, I'm killing him." My dad shook his head. His voice was calm but he was dead serious.
"I'm hurt that he gave you bruises, and that he beat you up and did you that dirty." My mom wiped her eyes. I knew sooner or later this would happen. "He touched my baby, I'm just glad that you're ok. But let me see your wrist again."
I held out my wrist, it was slightly bruised and only hurt a little. My bruises go away fast most of the time so I should be fine within the next few days. "Where else are you bruised?" She asked.
I lifted up my shirt to show her my sides and stomach. These were slowly getting better but at least it didn't hurt. "These don't hurt anymore, they just look bad."
Truth is I'm getting more and more insecure, but Diggy always makes me feel better, he's there when I need him to be and he knows what to say and how to get my mind off of things. He even takes me to church with him on Sunday which is always a great start to my week. He's been a great friend and I appreciate him so much.
"Naomi, don't feel insecure about any of this because it's not your falut. You did nothing wrong. You are a beautiful, strong, caring, lovely young lady and no one will ever take that from you. I don't care what that boy told you, he is not God so therefore he doesn't get to tell you who and what you are. Your father and I love you so much Nae and you know that, nothing will ever change that. So keep your head up baby girl." I wiped the tears off of my face.
That was exactly what I needed to hear and the fact that she saw that I was feeling insecure, well the fact that God put that on her heart to tell me that made me so happy.
"Thanks mommy, I love you guys so much." She smiled at me and kissed my cheek.
"We love you too Nae." We all stood up and did a group hug.
Daniel just sat back with one of the biggest smiles on his face. After we got done with the family hug I turned and hugged Daniel too.
"Thank you for everything that you've ever done for me Dan, it means a lot and I know I'm not the easiest person to deal with but thanks for being my friend." I whispered in his ear.
"I got you Nae and you know that, and I know that you would've done the same for me." We hugged for about 2 minutes until we realized how long it had been.
"Oh my bad, mom and dad. Just some bonding time." I chuckled.
"No no, it's fine. I like how close you guys are I respect the fact that he made an effort to come and support you. I appreciate that kid." My dad nodded his head towards Daniel with a small smile.
"Were you guys gonna go do something?" My mom asked.
I looked at Daniel. "Where we? We could if you want to, if you don't that's fine."
"No actually I did wanna go somewhere, if that's alright with your parents." He looked at them for approval. Mom and dad nodded their head. "Yeah sure just be back before 11." My dad said.
"Yes sir, will do." Daniel responded. "Thanks mom and dad." I thanked them. "Um do you mind if I change really quick?" I motioned to my sweats and tee shirt that I wore to sleep at the Simmon's house last night.
"Yeah sure no problem, take your time." He nodded.
"Alright thanks." I headed upstairs to fix my hair and put on some more clothes. (A/N: Outfit In MM)
After I finshed we headed out. On to what ever Daniel had planned.
