After Daniel left, I cut off any lights on in the house and went back to my room.
"I'll figure out that outfit in the morning.." I said to myself cutting off the tv and cutting on the fan.
After saying a small prayer and plugging in my phone, I drifted off the sleep.

Morning Time
"Hey baby, I'm headed to work. Don't be late." Momma came to my door.
I rubbed my eyes sitting up. "Be safe, I love you." Soon as she walked out tells frame I was right back to laying down.
Five minutes can't hurt.

I rolled over looking at my phone. 8:30?! Dang it Nae you did it again!
I jumped out of bed, grabbed the nearest pair of jeans, my Astroworld tour shirt and my all black sneakers.
I brushed my teeth and did my skincare routine at the same time and brushed my curls into a top knot, or something close to one. At this point I just needed to be out the house.
Just then my hair started ringing. 'Daniel 👀💓' the screen read.
Nearly tripping to get to the phone I picked up. "Hey Dan."
"Hey Nae, I meant to call earlier. Everything alright? You sound..rushed." He laughed.
"Five extra minutes turned into 20 so I'm running late." I rinsed my face and grabbed my deodorant, perfume and chapstick along with my keys and all the homework off of my desk.
"Sounds about right, I'll let you go, text me when you get here and be safe." I practically heard him smile through the phone.
"Of course, I'll see you then." Making sure everything was in my bag, I ran down the stairs and out the door after locking it and raced to school.

Me: Hey, I just got to school. 🥵
Daniel 👀💓: Alright, you need anything?
I grabbed my belongings out of the car and made my way to the doors.
Me: Nah, I'm all set. You?
Daniel 👀💓: You
My heart dropped to my stomach
Daniel👀💓: to hurry before you accumulate another tardy 😂
I don't know if that was a save or not but whew.
Me: I'm making my way to class now, we'll ISS. I'll see you soon.
Daniel 👀💓: Alright love
I got to my seat as the last bell rung. Just in time.
I flew through all of my classes fairly quick and lunch was right around the corner.
"Alright, all you have to do is go over the notes and do the last 3 modules. Everything is due tonight and I won't grade it if it's late. Your college professors wouldn't either."
I'm getting real tired of these teachers saying that.
"Alright, I come find you tomorrow."
The bell rung and I gathered my things before heading towards the cafeteria .
"Nae!" It was Daniel.
"Hey, what's up?" I smiled.
"You want to go off campus for lunch today?" He asked.
"Hmm how about after school?"
"You have homework and you know it. Ain't no way you're about to be blaming me for your all nighter."
"You know you ain't have to drag me like that right Dan?" I asked laughing. He wasn't wrong though.
"Let's go." We went to his car and he drive to the nearest subway.
"Subway works right? Cause I've been craving subway." He laughed.
"Of course. I'm paying this time."
"But you're not." He interjected as we headed inside.
We ordered it food and he swiped his card once again before I could even offer for a second time.
"You're not paying when you're with me. Period. Sorry love."
We found our seats and waited for our order to be called out.
We sat and talked for some time before heading right back to the school.
"Thanks again Dan..meet me outside of the ISS room?" I asked.
"Ok course, you have everything?"
I nodded my head. "You know it."
I gave him a hug before heading back towards the class.

End of School Day
After school Daniel met me by the ISS room as promised and took my bag.
"So how was it? Boring and cold?"
"Nah, he was chill, and I got a lot of work done so I'll probably just go home and..I don't know."
He nodded his head.
"What are you doing after school?" I asked him.
"I'm not sure just yet, for sure homework, probably write a little bit, if I have time I'll call you or whatever." He shrugged.
"Boy stop playing, you know you wanna talk to me." I laughed winking at him.
"I mean..not after that I don't." By this time we had reached my car.
"Or not, haha I was joking you know." I scratched my head.
"Good.." he trailed off
"So um..I'll take my bag now." I reached for it but he held it high above my reach.
"I was kidding Naomi, of course I want to talk to you, I'd spend all day with you if I could. You know that." He smiled down at me.
I looked down to keep from blushing..this boy really does something to me.
"It's okay if you don't though, I'm good either way."
He handed me my bag so I could get my keys and then placed my bag in the back seat for me.
"I'll call you when I finish my homework Nae." He laughed. "Give me some love."
I hugged him tight.
"Alright, I'll see you when I see you. Get home safe and text me."
I nodded. "I will."

I got home and sent Diggy a text letting him know I had made it in.
I pulled out my homework and laptop and got to work.
All I remember is waking up surrounded by homework and a significant amount of text messages.
I checked the time and it was about 7:45 so I still had time to get work done but I was going to have to speed it up. I didn't even know I was this tired.
"Nae-bear, you have company." My mom knocked on my door.
