Is It Worth It?

I was confused as to what just happened and Farao looked at me.

"Liyala are you going," Balid asked genuinely curious.

"I don't know, I mean you guys know how Lee is."

"Fuck Lee, he doesn't deserve you at all," Farao spat, his distaste for Lee's antics grew and it was mutual. 

"Farao brah, ease up," Chad hopped in.

"I think if you do go then you should go clubbing with us after," Spencer smiled.

"Your boy Scott here was flirting with a bartender and she got us the hook-up," Jeff said making all the guys life.

Scott grinned, "Free drinks on me."

"Seriously this trip was to get you away from Lee but it's like it pushed you closer together and I know at least three people sitting here not okay with that," Miguelito confessed, "princess I'm not trying to be cruel but we haven't seen you for three days."

"Plus wherever you go, those two guys hover around, as if they'll shoot us for touching you," Farao spoke and Miguelito and Spence agreed.

"I know I'm sorry guys, we can go out tonight."

Jeff grinned like the Cheshire Cat, "Meet back here at the rendezvous point."

"How long have you been waiting to say that," Balid made fun of Jeff.

"A couple minutes," he admitted making us laugh.

We parted ways and I went back up to my room, I opened the door to see Lee wearing a suit. Lee never wore suits unless someone died, "Who died?"

"Nobody died, I just have to go out for work," the way he said it made me uncomfortable.

"You look very nice where are you going?"

"Um out something for work came up," the way he said it made me suspicious.

"Something for work that requires a two thousand dollar suit, Lee? And the cologne I got you two years ago?"

"I have to go on a date, with the head of The Cenzos from back home."

"What do you mean date- like a meeting?" The look on his face told me everything I needed to know, "Explain this to me fully."

"There's been a new threat, your asshole ex-boyfriend didn't die, but he cleaned up shop and disappeared. He owed some people money among other things, they see me at fault until he is found because of my position. The-"

"The Cenzos."

"They want me to go out with the younger daughter apparently the older one is set to marry someone else in this business in the upper part of the east coast."

"Are you going to have sex with her?" There was a pause and Lee turned away from me making me uneasy, "Can you turn around and look at me please?"

"Liyala-!"

"Lee, are you going to have sex with her?"

"If she wants to Liyala, they want me to marry her and sign an agreement, but-"

"If you walk out that door I'm not going to be here when you get back."

"Liyala-" Lee tried to touch me.

"Don't you dare try to touch me," my nostrils flared and my eyes brimmed with tears. "How long have you known about this?"

"Two weeks," he sounded defeated but I was just disappointed.
