Never Gonna Remember [HIATUS] (SHINee Key fanfic)

MUST READ AUTHOR'S NOTE!

I thank all the beautiful souls who've stopped on their tracks to check out my story. This was my very first story on wattpad and the time when I started writing this, I had no motivation, no ideas on how to start a story, on how to write, on the language, slang and the character portrayal. To sum up, I had no knowledge about story writing.

So as you see the reason I started this was because of the obsession I had on kpop. I thought it would be fun writing one to see how good I am and I just noticed that I sucked.

Recently I went through some of the initial chapters of my story and found them so immature. The slang, language, way of presentation, everything felt so childish and since I really improved on my writing skills recently, I couldn't digest having these unimpressive chapters lurking on my profile.

So I've come up with this decision of editing the story right from the very beginning. A major renovation to be honest. I hope all the readers would support me on this decision just so this story becomes more professional to read and enjoy.

The story plot is gonna be the same and there are no changes done to that, whereas, I'm gonna completely alter the slang and language that I previously used. Also, first thirty chapters were so short that it hardly  reached 1000 words while the further chapters went beyond 5000. That was a drastic leap and so I've decided to modify their lengths too.

I'll be merging three chapters into one until I get a consistent number of words for all the chappies. This results in the need for deleting many chapters since they are gonna be clubbed with another anyways. Because of this I'm gonna lose all the votes, number of reads and comments on the respective chapters and I feel so bad but I have no other go. I have to do this inorder to make my story more presentable and appealing to read.

With a heavy heart I'm starting my editing process, hoping it will worth it in the end and readers please help me by voting and commenting.

The chapters having <edited> at the very beginning are the ones that are completely edited and are ready for reading.

Because of the merging procedure, the number of chapters will be decreased so please don't freak out. Again, the plot remains the same, only the story is renovated to make it up to its best. I really recommend all the readers to go through the story once again from the beginning after the entire edition process is complete because this version is far better from the previous one.

I wholeheartedly apologise for making such a mess. I'm feel so sorry for all the NGR readers who were anxiously waiting for the next update. I promise you I'll finish this editing process as soon as possible and update the new chapter whose number I can't put my finger on.
