Sky shot up in the bed, breathing rushed, eyes wide, adrenaline pumping, heart racing. A nightmare, he told himself, that's all that was. None of it was real. He wasn't dying again, the squids weren't around, he was safe.

But Ty wasn't. And Ian gave himself up willingly, which wasn't adding up. But Sky had other things to worry about. Like his trip to another kingdom, as well as keeping his recruits and friends safe while he was gone.

He sighed heavily once he had gathered himself, slinging his legs over the side of the bed and shakily bringing himself to a stand. His sleep deprived eyes scanned the paperwork he had to take with him before his hand put them away into a bag. "Sky."

The king turned to look at his sorcerer friend, giving an exhausted smile. "Hey Seto."

"Hey, uh, I hope you have a good trip. Stay safe, with the squids and all," the sorcerer muttered. "And uh, Brice wanted me to give you this."

Sky frowned faintly as he took what appeared to be a small gem. "Thanks Seto. What's it for?"

"It's mainly just for superstitious luck. You know how much of a believer Brice is in that stuff," Seto smiled. "Get a lot of sleep at your first campground alright? You'll need it."

Sky chuckled, slipping the small gem into his pocket. "You betcha Seto. Good luck with running this place while I'm gone."

The sorcerer gave a halfhearted salute, messing with his friend before leaving to get his matters done with. As the sun rose into the sky, the Sky Army General rode off towards Yogcast kingdom on his trusty steed, Buttercup.

Meanwhile Seto was laying back in his bed, eyes closed as he tried to go back to sleep. The hour was four in the morning, and he had only awoken to tell Sky to be safe and give him the gem.

In truth, the gem wasn't just a good luck charm, and Brice didn't even know about it. Seto actually had placed a charm on the gem. He had a hunch something bad was going to happen, and his hunches almost always were accurate.

A yawn forced his eyes closed for a moment, his body cuddling into the cool sheets as he slowly dozed off again.

In his dream he was standing in the middle of his room, his sleeping self, well, where he was in reality. Something felt off about the air around him, maybe it was that everything seemed slightly foggy, or that it seemed a little warmer than normal.

Suddenly there was a loud crack of thunder, lightning flashing which resulted in the room turning into a bright white light. When it faded and the sorcerer could see again, he stood frozen in disbelief.

Cold, white eyes stared the brunette down, the face of the God before him completely void of emotion. Seto watched him in shock, summoning magic into his hands as a meek protection. "What are you doing here?"

"I am here to warn you of the future," the God spoke without moving his mouth, "You and your friends are in danger."

Seto frowned faintly. "I know. The squids are back."

"A long lost family member of yours is helping them in their pursuit of this kingdom and the lands of Minecraftia. You'll meet him soon enough, but you won't be prepared for who it is."

The sorcerer paled. "W-Why are you telling me this?"

"Because you need to know what is to come. Your decisions in protecting your friends will determine if you and your friends end up surviving this."

"T-That's a lot of responsibility and burden to place on my shoulders. I-I don't think I'd be able to handle it all alone."

"My brother and I by the laws we created are not allowed to intervene, but I will be around for moral support, as well as whoever you choose to share this with."

Seto rose an eyebrow at this. "Who I choose?" The god nodded.

"You will also be allowed one more person to share the burden. It's not humanly possible to bare all this weight yourself, and as gods my brother and I understand that. Just make sure the person you tell will be able to share, and not take a little of the burden."

Seto bit his lip hard, his mind drifting to his blonde blue eyed friend. "Brice?"

The god hummed in thought for a moment before nodding. "He wouldn't be my first choice, but yes, he'll work."

Seto sighed shakily. "What happens if we fail?"

The god met Seto's gaze, opening his mouth for the first time. "If you fail, Minecraftia will fall into the hands of the squids, and everyone will be enslaved and turned into squid hybrids or humanoids."

Seto gulped as the scenery shifted and turned. "And if we succeed?"

The god's voice was fading as he answered. "You shall see, Seto. Best of luck." And then Seto woke up.
