Chapter 12

Cece POV :

I woke up the next morning tangled up in Jaden. I laughed.

"Jaden wake up" I started shaking him.

He started moving and he sounded groggily.

"Jaden wake the hell up now." He loosened his grip up on me and I got up. He woke up and looked over at me. I saw him glance at the alarm clock. I looked at it, 7:34 am.

"Why up so early?" He asked.

"I don't even know" I answered a little embarrassed. "Anyways" I continued.

"Can you take me and Chey back to my house?" I asked him.

"Sure I guess, can we hang out today? Just me and you no one else?" He asked me taking my hands and looking directly into my eyes.

I laughed a little.

"Of course, I would love too." I smiled giggling.

"Alright, c'mon lets go wake everyone up." He said holding my hand.

We walked into Moi 's room first, were he was sitting on his bed already awake.

"What up bruh ?" Jaden said stepping into his room.

"Morning Cece , & nothing much. Teó and Cheyanne up?" He asked yawning.

"Actually no we were just going to go wake them up so me and her could go back to my crib." I answered him.

Cheyanne and Teó walked into the room.

"Morning, Chey me and you are gonna head back to my place. Alright?" She nodded her head in agreement and we all headed out the door to the car.

We arrived at my house and Jaden walked me up to my door.

"Let's kick it today, 3pm ima be here. Aight?" He smiled at me.

"Alright I guess." I hugged him and went inside.

"Cece I'm gonna go hop in the shower, I'll be out in 30" Cheyanne got in the shower and I heard my mom walk out.

"Cece we need to talk." She looked at me seriously.

"Yes mom?" I got worried.

"I'm getting behind on the rent and the bank is gonna take the house away if I don't pay it all by the end of this week." I spaced out for 3 seconds and snapped back into reality. I looked at the calendar on the wall, it was Tuesday.

"Mom , I can get a job if you want me too. I can even do babysitting and stuff." I offered.

"No Cece all I need you to do is to watch your brother and sister and to make sure they're happy that's all I ask for. I talked to my boss today and he said he's willing to pay a little extra if I work later and longer shifts." My mom was the strongest person I'd ever met.

"Alright ma , you know how much I love you right?" I got up and hugged her and kissed her cheek.

"I'm going out later with a friend. Can Cheys' mom watch Izzy and Craig for me?" I begged

"If it's okay with her, of course." She got up and left. "I'm off to work, bye love you"

Chey came into the kitchen dressed and sat down.

"So what's up with you, what you doing today?" She asked me peeling an orange.

"Hanging with Jaden , oh can your mom watch Izzy and Craig pleaseee" I asked.

"Of course! , I'm gonna fix them some food. You can go get dressed." She answered back.

"Thank you Chey, you da bestest" I laughed and left.

I hopped into the shower and showered I got out and left my hair natural. I sighed it was a mess. I stuck my hand into the jar of hair gel and spreaded it onto my hair to form a sock bun.

I went into my room and put my clothes on; galaxy printed leggings, a loose crop top and my white hightop Air Force 1's. I looked into the mirror and added some mascara and foundation.

My phone vibrated. I looked down to see a text from Jaden.

"Can't wait to see you 😉" I laughed and texted back

"The feelings mutual" I locked my phone and went into the kitchen with Chey and my brother and sister.

"Guys, TeTe is gonna watch you today alright? Make sure you be good." I looked at both of them and they nodded. I looked at my phone to check the time. It was only 2:50. I smiled. Almost time to go.

"So what are you and Jaden gonna do today" Chey asked.

"To be honest I have no idea." I heard a horn honk and saw Jaden outside in the car.

"He's here bye guys" I left out the door and he got out the back of the car and opened the door for me.

"So where are we going?" I asked kinda excited.

"You'll see" he smiled as the car backed out the driveway.
