Chapter 9

Cece POV :

I woke up the next morning and looked at the clock 8:45 am. I sighed.

I heard my mom come in through the front door. I peeked my head out just as she sat on the couch.

"Hey ma.. How was work" I asked watching her take off her shoes.

"It was a normal day at work sweetheart , how are you?" She asked

"I'm good , do you need anything? Ill cook you breakfast." She smiled and I went to brush my teeth and wash my face.

I put on something casual sweatpants and a tank top I planned on lounging all day.

I put my wavy medium length hair in a bun and left to the kitchen.

I passed by my brother and sister and looked in, still sleeping.

I went into the kitchen and grabbed some eggs and pancake batter. I prepared everything and set it out for everyone.

"Thank you Cece hun" my mom came and kissed me on the cheek.

"Welcome ma, I know work tires you out"

I went into my room and grabbed my phone. 3 text, 1 from Jaden and 2 from Chey.

I read the text from Chey asking if I wanted to hang out.

I clicked the text from Jaden asking what I was doing today.

I replied back to chey and told her I was just chillin and asked if she wanted to come over.

I then replied back to Jaden and told him Chey was coming over.

Jaden POV :

I texted Cece.

Jaden - Hey What Are U Doing Today

Cece - Nothing just chillin with chey at my house hbu?

Jaden - Teó And Moi Are Hanging Here Today.. I Really Wanna See You Again.

Cece - Maybe you guys could come chill with me and chey ? I mean you don't have to if you don't want to it was just a suggestion.

Jaden - Sounds good 😁

I locked my phone and smiled she was really something else. Something special.. I couldn't put my finger on it exactly but something about her was different and I liked it. I smiled to myself and layed down and checked my Instagram and twitter .

*scroll , scroll* nothing new I pressed my home button and Moi walked in.

"Yo bro , what we doing today?" Teó followed in behind him.

"You guys wanna go chill at Cece's place with Cheyanne?" I saw Teó 's face light up.

"Yes!" Sounds great he rushed out.

"Someone's got a crush." I teased.

"Shut up , and what about you and Cece?" He said back "huh huh you and Cece obviously like each other"

"We're just friends." I said, it didn't feel right though. I wanted to be more than friends I shook the thought out of my head.

I texted Cece and asked her for her address and we headed out.

Cece POV :

I heard a knock at my door and ran and opened it to see Chey.

"Hey girl!" She said bursting in. "Your mom and siblings are gone?"

"Yeah my mom took them out for a little." I smiled.

"Ooh okay so lets watch some movies or something." She suggested.

"Oh wait no actually I invited Teó, Moi, & Jaden over" I said forgetting.

"So you have been texting Jaden 😏 you're welcome" she said poking me.

"Yeah yeah whatever" I said.

I heard a knock at the door and walked over. Once I opened it I saw Jaden, Teó, and Moi.

"Hey Guys" I greeted them and opened the door so they could come in.

Jaden POV :

We pulled up at a small nice house. We all got out and Teó knocked at the door.

Cece opened it in and she looked beautiful as always. She had on gray baggy sweatpants and a tank top even though she wasn't trying she looked amazing. I smiled at her . She greeted us and let us in.

I went over to her while Moi and Teó went into the living room with Chey.

"You look beautiful" I said grabbing her hand, she blushed.

"Pshh sike I wish." She laughed. "Her c'mon I wanna show you my room" she lead me into a hallway and we turned into her room.

It was orange and purple with quotes on the wall.

I sat down on her bed. I looked at her dresser and saw a picture of her when she was younger and a man, I'm guessing is her dad. I just looked at it for a while.

"That's my dad" she snapped me out of my gaze.

"Oh yeah I figured. You look just like him" I smiled.

"Thank you" she laughed a little.

I looked around and she caught my eye, I just observed her and noticed scars on her wrist.

"What's wrong?" She came and sat next to me.

"Nothing , I uh.. I was just looking at that sexy poster of me on your wall." I winked at her. She laughed historically.

"Jadeennn oh my god that's so embarrassing!!" She rushed over and took it down.
