Chapter 15

Cece POV

I woke up the next morning embraced in Jadens tight grip. I turned to face him, I smiled to myself. "How did I get so lucky?"  I studied his sleeping face for about 3 minutes , he was sound asleep, every once and a while a light snore would leave his mouth. 

"Shit" I cursed under my breathe, I forgot my mom had to work early today. I hurried out of bed and gathered all of my stuff. Jaden quickly sat up and looked over at me confused. 

"What's wrong babe, did I do something wrong?" His eyebrows furrowed together and I could see fear flash through his eyes. I quickly went over to comfort him.

"No of course not, I just forgot my mom had work in 20 minutes and I have to watch my brother and sister." I explained to him while throwing him his shirt and shoes. Quickly, we both grabbed all of our stuff and headed to my house. With 5 minutes to spare we made it on time just as my mom was walking out the door. As we walked in I noted that my brother and sister were still sleep, thank god. I managed to look at the clock as we were walking towards my room, 7:06 am. I yawned and turned towards Jaden.

"You can go back home babe, you don't have to stay. Maybe we can hang out later?" I looked up at Jaden, he looked tired and nodded his head. 

"Yeah, I'll come get you later" His voice was low and husky as he pulled me into his arms. I snuggled my face into the crook of his neck taking in his scent. He stepped back and lifted my chin up so I was looking him in his eyes, I felt his breath near my lips, sending chills throughout my body. He brought his lips down to mine and there is was, that feeling. Something about Jaden made me weak to my knees, he was my missing piece. I smiled through the kiss as electricity shot throughout my body. I pulled away and rubbed my nose against Jadens, pecking him on the lips.

"I'll call you when I wake up so we can go out?" I said, but it sounded more as if I was asking him. He nodded and kissed me once more before leaving. I went back into my room and went to sleep.

I woke up and looked over at my phone that was charging and unlocked it to text Jaden telling him I'd be ready in about an hour or so. I walked out into my kitchen to find my brother and sister eating. 

"Guys I'm going out later with Jaden, I'll call the babysitter alright?" They both nodded and I left to go get ready. I opened my closet and grabbed my black lace leggings, a white tank top with a gold skull outlined in black and my timbs. I went into the bathroom showered and got ready. I groaned looking into the mirror at my hair, I decided on a nice bun and wrapped one of my bandanas on my head. I felt my phone vibrating on my side to see Jaden calling me. Jaden spoke into the phone first.

"Hey babe, I uh, I'll be over soon" He rushed his words into the phone, I got worried.

Was something going on? I thought to myself, remembering he was still on the phone I spoke up.

"Yeah, okay alright I'll see you then" I answered trying not to let worry take over my voice. I heard shuffling and voices in the background before I hung up the phone. Where was Jaden?

Jaden POV

I got into my car and drove to Cece's house to pick her up. Before I got out I looked into the mirror and made sure there were no visible bruises or cuts on my face, remembering the incident that had happened 20 minutes ago. I got out and knocked on the door. Cece opened the door and studied my face carefully while doing so we made eye contact and hurt flashed through her eyes, shit. Should I tell her about the fight? I decided not to, but if she asked I would. We got into the car and it was silent. As I backed out of her packing lot I decided to break the ice. 

"Are you okay? Did I do something?" My voice came out flustered and needy. She looked over at me and sighed.

"No, actually I don't know. When you were on the phone you sounded suspicious and you rushed your words. I know you wouldn't be doing anything bad or you'd tell me right?" Her eyes were pleading and begging for the truth. 

"You can't get mad, but I uh kinda got into a fight"
