Some reason it would show up, so I had to re-do the chapter part ❤

I couldn’t believe the person standing in front of Ashura and me. “Did you two miss me?” she said. Instead of replying, I walked closer and hugged her. She laughed and dragged Ashura into the hug too. “Well since you two aren’t going to say anything, I’m gonna imagine that your responses were yes,”

“Don’t worry, Jacklyn, they definitely missed you.” All three of us looked over and saw Ashura’s dad standing there with bags of groceries in his arms. “When you first left, they kept complaining and asking when you were gonna come back,” He laughed.

“Dad… Don’t tell her that,” Ashura walked over to his father and helped him put some of the groceries away. Jacklyn, on the other hand, pulled me away to my bedroom and closed the door behind her.

“You two are dating, aren’t you?” she whisper yelled. My face heated up and I sighed loudly. Of course she would know! Jacklyn gasped loudly and hugged me. “You guys are! Finally!”

“Is it that obvious?” I asked, patting her back awkwardly. When she let go of me, she just grinned and poked my head. These damn bastards!! Why does everyone think it’s okay to just go ahead and read my mind!? Ugh!

“Sorry, sorry! You know that I’ve always wanted you two to get together. Now I can take that out of my dream journal,” I sighed loudly and walked out of my room with Jacklyn trailing behind me. I love her to death, but there’s a line you don’t cross with mind reading, and she just did.

“It’s good to see that you alive and well, Book!” said Mr. Sinfel from the kitchen. He was making one of my favourites for dinner tonight, chicken alfredo with mac and cheese. I just groaned in response and sat down next to Ashura on the couch. “So Jacklyn,” he began. She had already made it to the couch, so just turned her head and looked back at him. “How college going?”

“I hate everyone,” she said with a smile. Of course she’d say something like that. “But of course you knew I would say that. Right Dad?” Mr. Sinfel laughed and continued his cooking. Ashura then tapped my shoulder.

“We’ll continue our studying later, right Book?” Studying what-- Oh….

“Yeah. We will,” I smiled. He winked at me and got up and went back to his room. If Jacklyn hadn’t interrupted, I’m pretty sure we would’ve ended up having sex even though it’s only been a few days since we started dating.

“So Book,” Jacklyn said. “How was that ‘study session’ going?” My face started to heat up again.

“None of your fucking business…” I mumbled so Mr. Sinfel wouldn’t hear me. She ruffled my hair and grinned.

“I already know what you two have been doing,” She said quietly. I stuck out my tongue and middle finger up at her. She just laughed and hugged me. “Love you too Book!” I couldn’t help but hug her back. I’ve missed her a whole lot since she graduated early. And because of that, she’s been going to school during the day. I heard it sucks ass actually.

“Book, dinner is ready,” said Mr. Sinfel. I jumped up and practically ran to the kitchen. I don’t play when it comes to my food. Everyone knows that if you even think of touching it, I’ll stab you with whatever utensil is in my hand. It happened to Ashura once. Note how I said once. “Jacklyn, can you get your brother?”

“No need to Dad, I’m already here,” Ashura said, walking into the kitchen. He still hasn’t put his shirt back on, and it’s to the point where it’s bugging me. As he dad was putting large portions of food on my plate, I couldn’t help but stare at my boyfriend’s body. He noticed I was staring at him and he winked and licked his lips. I bit my lip as Mr. Sinfel snapped his finger in front of my face.
