Chapter 7: Upstream

Sans Pov

I'm worried about her, after Pap reminded her of what happen between us when she showed up and ever since she's been acting different, I decided to take her to the echo flower field near the waterfall so I can try and see what's been bothering her. When I took her hand she blushed a bright red, she attempted to hide it but I just smiled, maybe she likes me?

I teleport us to the field and Frisk just stared around in awe, I never brought her here in any of the timelines so this is her first time. "Sans it's gorgeous, I love everything about this place what is it?" She stared intently waiting for my response, I laughed a bit at her she was so intrigued with it all. " This is the Waterfall and around the water echo flowers bloom, and they repeat the last thing the heard." I say leaning down and whispering something into the nearby flower.

She kneels down near the flower I whispered to and listened, " I'm worried about you, I hope you know i'm sorry, the circumstances were different and I didn't know and... I'm sorry." Frisk stood up and walked over to me and just held me in place for awhile, it was so peaceful and beautiful just standing there with her.

 She pulled away from me and looked anywhere but at me, I didn't know what to do so I took her hand and ran towards the water.

"Sans, where are we going ? SANS NOOO!!!" she screamed as I practically dragged her into the water, " What's wrong kiddo?" I attempted to hold in my laughter but failed miserably.

Frisk crossed her arms and looked away, "Hey kiddo what did the ocean say to the other ocean?" she looked over at me and shrugged, "Nothing they just waved" I laughed again but was instantly stopped when she tackled me into the water. When I surfaced she was already splashing away further up stream.

Quickly I swam upstream but when I got there something wasn't right.
