Chapter 27 : The Calm Before The Storm

Frisk's Pov 

Last night was another hell and attempt for Chara to gain control but I survived barely, I don't know how much longer I can do this. I wake up in Sans arms, I must of fell asleep while he was hugging me. Slowly I detach myself from his hold, I don't want to get up but I know I have too. Quietly I head downstairs and see what I can make for breakfast. The only option is Pancakes with toast with eggs or spaghetti but that's not a breakfast food.  Once I get cooking I start to sing a little and dance around trying to pass time.

 "Running to another day I want to break away and take the leap! As we're stuck on yesterday no sun to rise would be okay with me! Everyday, everyday is okay, taking it step by step we'll always move a head. Are love is growing red, need me more, need you more. You fall down seven more times I'll be there seven, eight, nine! As we keep trying you're always gonna be there too, we're always singing the same tune, everyday from now on!"

When I finish I realize Sans came in and too care of the harmonizing, Mettaton was filming but I have no idea when the hell they even got in here! "Beautiful darling! the crowd is going to love it!" Mettaton runs out the house after kissing Papyrus. 

Sans was fuming a bit after seeing that but I pulled him into a kiss so he would be distracted from Papyrus and Mettaton. "Feel better Sansy boy?" I laugh pulling apart to set the table. Sans was dazed for a moment before coming to join me. 

Chara Pov (Hmm this should be interesting...)

Lately I've been leaving Frisk's mind to cross through Aus (Alternate Universes) because I'm planning something that will make their lives hell. Making a pit stop in one of the Aus I go and talk to the guy who's going to help me play my game a lot longer. "Hey, I have a job for you. This is how you're going to repay me for saving you're...Friend." I laugh and stare dangerously into their eyes. "you're going to do this without a second thought...or your little friend will suffer once again." I laugh hysterically while walking out, giving them a wave before crossing back into my own universe. This is going to be fun. 

Frisk Pov

I feel Chara's presence in my mind but I ignore her, I was still slightly annoyed that Mettaton was going to post that video, but what can you do? Sans and I are lounging on the couch together while exchanging puns and jokes back and forth. 

"Knock, knock."

"Who's there?"

"Lemmie."

"Lemmie who?"

"Lemmie in the door's locked!"

Sans and I laugh at our terrible jokes, it made me forget I was slightly unstable. "Sans, do ever miss the old me?" I ask in a quiet voice. I'm laying on top Sans with my back to him, he's silent for a moment. "Well not really because you're the exact same except a little edgier. Frisk, I wish you never had to experience that but, you did and that makes you stronger doesn't it?" Sans wrapped his bony arms around my waist and cuddled me close and a few lonely tears fall.  I love this skeleton.

Flowey hops into the door with Papyrus and make a gagging sound which made me giggle and Sans groan. They both begin arguing, it was too hilarious. I'm happy, and I want everything to stay like this.

"Not for long....."
