MEOW?!

Travis's POV

I walk Katelyn home and she holds my hand. This feels magical to me...
"Oh, you found Travis, Katelyn," Lucinda remarks as she walks up to us. I see Katelyn roll her eyes.
"Go away, Lucinda," Katelyn groans. Lucinda smilies sweetly,
"Oh sure! But first..." She pulls out her staff from behind her back and uses it the whack me in the head... Oww... I fall to the ground and bang my head on the pavement. Before the world turns black, I hear Katelyn scream,
"TRAVIS!"

Katelyn's POV

"WHAT THE HECK, LUCINDA?!" I scream at her. She smiles again.
"Whoops!" Lucinda lunges toward me, trying to whack me with her staff this time, but I grab the staff and block it from hitting me, yet it still taps me on the head. Suddenly, I have this funny feeling... this feeling of softness and weakness... I do not like it. I feel pain on the top of my head and I groan and hold it. But the pain goes away quickly and it moves to my tailbone.
"GAH! WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?!" I moan. The pain goes away again and I glare at Lucinda. "Lucinda, what did mew do?!" I cover my mouth. Did I just say mew instead of you? I touch the top of my head and I feel little stubs... no, they are full-sized cat ears! Then, a tail breaks a hole through my shorts and I turn red from embarassment.
"Aww, you are a cute little kitty!" Lucinda coos, then she laughs.
"WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON MEW-" but I interrupted when Travis makes a groaning sound. He lifts his head and I gasp. He has little green ears and a green tail with a little white fur on the tip.
"Paw-rdon the interruption, but what happened?" Travis stands up and looks at me. "Katelyn! Mew have cat ears!" Travis covers his mouth and I roll my eyes.
"Mew do too, buddy," I groan. Dante walks toward us and cracks up at our appearances.
"Travis! Oh, Katelyn! This is priceless!" Dante snickers, "Or should I say, PAWriceless!" Dante laughs at his own joke.
"Shut up, Nyante!" Katelyn yells at him, and then she covers her mouth, her eyes growing wide. Dante cocks his head toward Katelyn.
"What did you just call me?"
"Nyante..." Katelyn says, her mouth still covered. Dante and Lucinda laugh like crazy.
"I have to take a picture of this!" Dante goes to pull out his phone, but I grab Travis's hand and pull him away, toward my house. When we get inside, I lug him up the stairs and into my bedroom, slamming the door and locking it too.
"What did Mewcinda do to us?!" Travis asks nervously, "IS THIS PERMEOWNENT?!"
"Travis," I reply sternly, "I can barely understand mew when mew talk cat talk."
"Your doing it too, mew know," Travis mentions.
"WHATEVER!" I fume, "I have no idea if this is permanent or what, but we can't let everyone see us." I lower my voice, "We are invisible."
"Katelyn~Sama! Why did you run upstairs and into your room with Travis~Kun?" I hear Kawaii~Chan ask me from outside of my door. Shoot...
"No reason, Kawaii~Chan! Just go away!" I call back and I motion Travis to not say a word. He gives me a goofy grin and yells,
"I'm just making out with Katelyn, if mew really wanted to know, Kawaii~Chan!" I hold my hand up to slap him, but he just keeps going, "Nya, it's true! Katelyn is really enjoying it and-" that's it. I slap Travis across the face and punch him to the ground. "OWWW!" He yelps.
"IS TRAVIS~KUN SERIOUS?!" Kawaii~Chan shrieks. I sigh,
"No, Kawaii~Chan, he was just-"
"HE'S TALKING LIKE A MEIF~WA!" Kawaii~Chan fangirls, "THAT IS SO CUTE!" I look at Travis, who is on the ground moaning like a baby with his adorable ears and tail... he does look pretty cute right now...
"Pssh, okay Kawaii~Chan. It's cute," I agree. Then I scowl at her, "NOW LEAVE ME ALONE!" After I hear her footsteps leave my door, I consider what to do next. Okay, so I'm locked in a room with the biggest idiot on Earth and we are both cat people and now everyone is going to try to take pictures and etc etc... Hmmm... First, I lock my window and cover it with my curtain. Laurence might try to break through the window... AGAIN... (Yes, I had to bring up the fanfic reading!) I also lock my closet... Travis has not yet seen my poster, and he NEVER WILL.
"Mew think I'm cute...?" Travis asks, getting to his feet.
"NO!" I reply abruptly, "Just shut up..." Now I guess I'm just supposed to stay in here... with him... Oh my Irene, help me...
