Katelyn's POV

I don't know what to say to him... Pacing in my room, I wonder how I should... reject Travis's offer. I can't date him! Feelings for Jefforey still exist, and even if I had a little cuddle time with Travis the other night, it doesn't matter. Aphmau knocks on my door and says,
"Katelyn? You there?"
"Yeah, I'm here," I growl and open the door. Aphmau and Lucinda are standing in my doorway and I almost slam the door on their faces when I see Lucinda's smug grin.
"Why, hello, Katelyn!" Lucinda bats her eyelashes.
"Ugh, why are you in my house?!" I practically yell.
"I just wanted to mention that the whole you-and-Travis-turning-into-a-cat thing, was to help you."
"What do you mean?"
"Lucinda told me that when you two kissed, the potion wore off," Aphmau explains.
"It sounds corny, I know, but that's how you broke the curse I put on you."
"Couldn't I have just kissed some other random guy?!" I laugh, "I bet even if I kissed Zane it would go away!"
"Hmmm, that's not true," Lucinda licks her lips, "For one, Zane isn't your type." I roll my eyes. "And two, it only works if it is someone you love. So clearly, you love Travis."
"W-what if I kissed Jefforey?!" I am starting to panic now.
"Well, we can find out!" Lucinda pulls out her staff and bonks me on the head. I cry out in pain, falling to my knees. The hole in my shorts is filled by my fluffy tail and ears pop out of the top of my head. When I get up, I feel dizzy and look at myself in the mirror. I'm a meif~wa again... "Now, you can go test it on Jefforey!"
"I hate you," I spat and storm out of my room and outside. Jefforey and Travis are still standing outside together, talking. I sprints over and jump into Jefforey's arms and kiss him straight on the lips. Come on, please work! I don't want to love Travis! Jefforey kisses me back, but I don't feel my ears or my tail disappearing. Oh shoot... When Jefforey puts me down, he smiles at me.
"I love you, Katelyn!" he murmurs, "But that doesn't seem like something you would do..." I almost start sobbing. I DON'T LOVE JEFFOREY?! BUT I DO LOVE HIM!!!
"So this is what you do to me?" a voice from behind me sniffles and I get out of Jefforey's arms and stare at Travis. He looks like he is tearing up. "I ask you to be my girlfriend and get you flowers and everything and then you kiss some other guy in front of me?!" Travis gives me a look that destroys my heart and storms off. I just lost the one that was meant to be...
