Down the distant road....

Meeting Him again.. <3

Keiji and kagome went back to the feudal era. This time Keiji was concentrating on how to enhance her spiritual powers.
"Will be back to get you. You better be ready this time Keiji." Inuyahsa said with a slightly annoying tone.
"Yeah I will."
She stayed behind as Inuyahsa and group went on their journey. She decided to stay and hold the fort for them. "I will protect the village."
She thought.

*************KEIJI P.O.V********

I was strolling in the forest. The wind was so soothing. I walked for a long time and after some time I came near a cliff. To my surprise I saw Rin and Jaken sitting there with Ah-un.
"RIN!!!! Oh my god...it's so good to see you."
"Lady keiji...." She came running towards me with a big smile on her face. She leapt forward and hugged me.
"It's good to see you too.." She said happily.
I hugged her back. "Hello master Jaken." I bowed in front of him.
"Hello." He just said that and turned around and sat on a nearby rock with his back facing us,mumbling something like..."lowly human....stupid girls..."
"Oh don't mind him. He is not so bad." Rin said getting down from my embrace.
"How are you lady keiji??? I was really worried. Lord Sesshomaru told me that you have recovered but I really wanted to meet you."
"Oh that's so sweet of you Rin....I am completely fine now." I said Reassuring her.
I looked all around but Sesshomaru was not any where near. My face dropped.
"If you are looking for lord Sesshomaru, he isn't here right now. He is training with his sword to perfect meido zangetsuha." Rin said.
"No....no...no it's not like that. I was watching this amazing view...look at those mountains over there...they are so beautiful..." My face flushed. I tried to distract the little girl but I think she already knew I wanted to see Sesshomaru.
"Hey Rin...what's meido zangetsuha by the way??"
"It's the greatest technique that can send your foes directly to the underworld. My lord is the only one who can do this." Jaken said proudly.
"Oh i see."
"Welcome back lord Sesshomaru...look who has come to see us???" I turned around as Rin welcomed Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru stared back at me looking emotionless as ever. I on the other hand was shaking with nervousness. It's so hard to see directly into his beautiful golden eyes.
"Hello Sesshomaru....I mean lord sesshomaru." I bowed down to pay my respect.
"What are you doing here?" He asked in his deep cold voice.
"I was just walking around and came across Rin and Jaken. That's all."
Nobody spoke for a while. And it was awkward as hell. Then Rin broke the silence and asked Sesshomaru.." How was your training my lord?? Did you perfect your new technique??"
"Why you ask such stupid question you silly girl. My lord is the best. He must have perfected his technique. Right my lord???" Jaken spoke abruptly.
"We are leaving. Jaken get Ah-un." He didn't paid any attention to little demon question and started walking away. I was standing there like an idiot.
"Wait..." As I tried to step forward the rock beneath me moved and all I could feel was a sudden shock. I was falling down. I closed my eyes waiting for the fatal impact. But I felt something holding me tightly. I opened my eyes to see Sesshomaru holding me. I was so close to him. My heart was beating so fast I am sure he must have heard it too. He was holding me in his right arm and then I noticed he didn't has a left arm. I felt sad for him. When i looked at him,he was looking right back at me. We were so close...he was looking at me with the same puzzled look as the last time.

*******SESSHOMARU'S P.O.V.***********

This girl....why I have this feeling that I know her. She looked so scared when she fell.....I couldn't stop myself from saving her.
I looked down at her,as she looked at the ground below ,she panicked and gripped my shoulder tightly.
Her scent.....I remember this scent..is she the same girl I found in the well 14 years ago. She was just as scared as she is now. The way she is holding me ...she held me like this when she was little.
I landed on the ground. Rin and Jaken came runnig toward me. As soon as she got out of my grip she fell on her knees still shaking with fear.
"Are you ok lady keiji??" Rin asked her in a sad voice.
"Yeah I am fine. Thanks Sesshomaru." She said looking at me.
"I am leaving....will be back soon." I said and I left.
As I was walking down in the forest I remembered the whole event that happened 14 years ago. I was passing by this same forest on that day too when I heard a little girl's cry. I looked below to see a well. Voice was coming from inside the well. I was intrigued....that was the bone eater's well. I saw inside. A little girl...she must be only a year old, she was crying profusely. When I looked closely I found something was crawling up the girl's body and coiling itself around her,suffocating her. I went down and with my claws I ripped that thing off her. It was the bones of a demon. I took her out she clenched me tightly. She looked down at the well and started crying again. Soon a white light emerged from the well she was pulled back into the well. As she was being pulled back she grabbed on my hair. But soon she vanished with the light.
"She is the same girl. What is it about her that captivates me....she is just a mere human. But why I feel a connection with her??? Why I had that urge to save her?? This feeling pisses me off." I thought as I walked away from all of them.
*************END P.O.V.**************

Keiji stood up and prepared to leave.
"I have to go now. Lady kaede must be worried." She said dusting her miko dress that kaede had given her.
"Are you feeling ok??" Rin asked as she came near her to say bye.
"Yeah I am fine. I must go now...bye Rin ...bye master Jaken." She bowed down and then parted her ways.
As she was waking down the path....she saw someone coming. It was Sesshomaru. She stood there in silence. As He came near her she said "thanks for saving me once again Sesshomaru....oh I mean lord Sesshomaru."
"Don't bother.....try to be more careful." He kept on walking and walked past Keiji. She turned around and grabbed his right arm.
"Why you always treat me like this.....it hurts you know??" As she asked him this question her eyes filled with tears.
Sesshomaru's eyes widened as she saw Keiji crying. "Why her tears are affecting me??" He thought to himself.
"Don't cry." He said as he lifted her chin up with his fingers.
Keiji could feel her face turning red. "Lord sesshomaru.....???" She looked at him with surprise.
"Call me Sesshomaru..." He left after saying that.
Keiji stood there with her hands against her heart. She could feel her heartbeat. She turned around to see Sesshomaru but he was gone. A smile crept on her face as she started walking towards the village.
Sesshomaru smiled slightly when he looked at her from above.
"Will meet again Keiji...."
